The entire borough of Manhattan is ripped from the ground, encased in a translucent dome, and taken aboard a massive alien ship!

So it got us thinking...

When will the air run out?
When will the water run out?
The food?
Toilet paper?  Books?  Soap?  Toothpaste?
Would police and other emergencies still come to work if they're not getting paid?
Where will the garbage go?
Where will the sewage go?
If we’re untethered from the US government and the Federal Reserve, what would happen to money?  Would it still be the currency of the day?
What happens to the hundreds of thousands of people who work in Manhattan, but live elsewhere?
What about the local government?  Who’s running the city now?
What happens to Central Park?
