I was born in Brooklyn, graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 1983 and escaped from New York in 1986. Thank goodness my wife answered that personal ad in the Bay Guardian! I've worked for everyone from Screw Magazine to the Cosmodemonic Telegraph Company of North America. Although I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area 30 years ago, I eventually returned to my spawning ground of NYC.
