I received an alarming number of emails about missing freebie items. Which means something is wrong with the surveys at the current moment. I've reached out to backerkit to talk about what the possible issue is, but most likely won't get a response until Monday of next week. Please hold tight until the weekend is over. I'm going to try and find out what's going on in the back end of the survey, but regardless, freebie items will be added manually if I have to.

Please do not comment about missing items on the updates, if you need to notify me of a missing item please email [email protected]. Please note you may not receive an answer to your email until Tuesday of next week, but the issue is being worked on.

Hey everyone,

There was a bit of an issue this morning with the free incentive items. Without going into much detail, I've had one or two backers where the free items weren't populating on their survey.

The final page of your survey will have an itemized list of all items you chose for your pledge level rewards, along with any free items. Please also keep in mind that you need to complete the survey for the freebies to show on the itemized list.

Here's a reminder of the freebies and how they are listed on your survey:

Early Bird (Backed within the first 48 hours) - Free Classic Gingerbread Sticker
Returning backer (previously backed a snarky co. project) - Free Mini Peppermint Pin
Backed partner projects (backed both Christmas in July and Cowboy Christmas) - Free Read More Books Cross Stitch Pin

Smoke Tests

This is just an update to let you know that the smoke tests have been sent for the survuey. A smoke test is where surveys are sent to about 5% of backers, at random, so we can see if there are any issues before sending them all out. I sent out the smoke tests just now, so as long as everything goes smoothly, the rest of the surveys will go out tonight or tomorrow morning.

Add-ons

In terms of the add-on section I really wanted to provide more options but unfortunately couldn't make it happen for this project. The plan this summer was always that I was going to New York to help with the arrival of my new nephew, but the timing played out very differently than expected. This just meant that there was a week where I needed to be with my family and step away from my computer, and it coincided with when I would have normally done survey work.

In an effort to obtain quantities and have these pins produced on time, it was better to just put out the survey with less add-ons than spend more time adding extra items, and risk not getting a quantity to complete manufacturing on time.

Thank you again to everyone who's been so supportive of the delay within this project. Rewards will still be delivered to you on time.

Lockdown and Card Charge

The lockdown and card charge date for this survey will be August 15th. I plan to send final quantity counts to the manufacturer on august 18th. Even if you can't complete the card transaction on August 15th, still fill out your survey, choose your designs, and then don't complete the survey on the final checkout page. This will still give me a count of the pin designs you want, but allows you more time to pay if you need.

There are 47 people who haven't filled out Surveys yet! Surveys close on August 18th and then I make the final order to the manufacturer. PLEASE fill out your surveys and fix your payments. Everything will be charged the 18th. With tariffs getting weird again, it's crucial that I get these orders in as soon as possible.


 I've already put in some orders, I've ordered all of the stickers, notepads, the packaging, mailers etc... The pinboards are being built!

Hello friends! Thank you all so much for being so prompt with filling out your surveys. I'm at 90% of surveys filled out which is fantastic. I'll be closing surveys August 18th, so if you haven't filled out yours or if you need to update you credit card info, please do it this next week. That way, once surveys close I can get the pin order in to my manufacturer and get production started. I've already started picking out the Pantone colors and readying all the artwork so it should be a super smooth process to get these pins underway. I am SO excited to see them come to life!

This campaign will feature felines in different costumes for spooky season! I'll have some fun designs including everything pictured above and more, and some of the designs in different color variants. There are rewards for Early Backers, Returning Backers, and Mailing List Backers -  so make sure to click the button to be reminded of when the campaign launches!

✨ The Transcend pins came in, and I have added everything to the Hearth's Warming surveys. I have sent out the Smoke Test (a random 5% of you will receive your survey in the next hour or so). Barring any issues, the rest of the surveys will go out tomorrow.  ✨

I have added MANY items from Celestial and Transcend to this survey. This is a great way to save some money on your orders. You can select a random pin and order stickers in packs for small discounts! You can also add a random Hearth's Warming pin for a small discount.

There are still 21 Cousins haven't paid for their initial pledge, which leaves this project $900 short. Please, if you are one of the 21 who needs to update their payment information, do this ASAP. You'll have a chance to do it during the survey, but the sooner the better.

For those who backed all 6 PKC projects, only my survey will show that you are receiving the Jumbo Cozy Pin, since I am the one handling fulfillment of it. Please do not be concerned if it doesn't show up in your other PKC surveys.
