Before the campaign goes live I wanted to put a request out for some monsters, beasts, and animals to work on. I’m currently trying to figure out which monsters I want to do from Kingdom Hearts. Other than that it’s fair game! They can be cute or scary or anywhere inbetween ^^
Over the next week until launch we're going to have a few sneak previews, and I'd love it if you could vote on our poll to decide one of our free-bees. Whichever wins the poll will be the early bird freebie, for everyone who pledges in the first 48 hours. The returning backer freebie will be an exclusive colourway of the first unlock tier mini pin - in this case, the Australian blue banded bee;
They're quite placid, solitary bees that are extremely, extremely fuzzy. Look 'em up and tell me they don't look kind of magical. This is the default colourway, which will unlock alongside the dog rose as our first tier unlock. Each tier will have one full size, and one mini pin. Not gonna lie, its a pretty eclectic collection; botanicals, pollinators, skulls and more. You know... Garden stuff. Each full size pin has some association with folklore and mythology from around the world.
We're also a part of Pin Quest! Which means that we have a Pin Quest freebie as well. If you back three or more campaigns, you'll recieve a freebie from every one! Ours is a secret for right now.
I am so excited to have you along for what promises to be an epic quest filled with Derpy Dragon misadventures and critical rolls! If you are new here, welcome! The Derpies started out as a side quest, but as all good adventurers know, that is where the good loot lives! And this campaign will be no different!
You might wonder why you have an update in your inbox before the party even sets off on their grand adventure! (and before the campaign launches) That is because I need your help!
You see, unlike previous campaigns, I plan to make some super-sized Derpy loot as add-ons! (Aka' BIG pins!) But the dungeon's skeleton crew and monsters have informed me that in order to offer bigger loot, they expect more payment upfront because producing bigger loot costs more! (*eyeroll*!)
Anyways, there are pros and cons to both options, and unlike my typical solution to just "get both", I HAVE to choose one before the campaign launches!
I am super excited to finally offer the "Life is better with Derpy Dragons" pin. But I would like to know whether you prefer it as a 2" pin (Cheaper to produce and therefor the same as my regular special edition pins at $35 CAD/$25.50 USD each). Or should we go big or go home with a 2.5" pin? (Costs me twice as much to produce, and therefor the cost per pin would be $50 CAD/$35.50 USD - but the numbers on the dice will be more legible)
