As long as one person backs one of the 21 Mothership Month projects within 10 minutes of the previous backer, the Backer Train keeps growing and all 21 Mothership Month campaigns keep going! Also if current backers increase their pledge, or add an Add-on to their pledge, Backer Train keeps chuggin' along!
Recent ttrpg project The Between broke the record for longest Backer Train with 1300 new backers over 48 hours after the campaign's "official" end. I think Mothership fans can break this record, but as we've seen with my MoSh Madness Tourney, perhaps I'm lucky I'm not a betting man, hahah.
