That said, we still have mountains to move to reach our goal. We've racked our brains on how to receive more support, but we're fresh out of ideas. The ball is in your court.

We truly hope you had a wonderful holiday season full of family, friends, fun, and those classic 80s films that make this time of year even more enjoyable. Can you believe it's already 2025? Somehow it still feels like the 80s were only 20 years ago, but maybe that's just us.
We're just posting an update to state that our campaign here on Backerkit only has 2 weeks remaining to collect pledges. That being said, our pledges thus far have been rather few and far between. This poor turnout was unanticipated as we'd received nothing but high praise and excitement about our campaign from our hundreds of lovely supporters.
That said, we're reaching out again to all of our supporters in hopes to encourage more pledges. Please remember that the most surefire way for us to make this film is through crowdfunding; if we meet our goal, 80s Babies will definitely see the light of day. However, if we are unsuccessful with our crowdfunding efforts, there is no guarantee that we will have the ability to acquire funding for the project by other means--but we will continue trying, regardless of our campaign outcome.

So, here's the scoop: Our campaign has officially been live for one whole week now. That being said, we seem to be having a bit of trouble attracting pledgers :( As of right now, we've only reached about 5% of our funding goal and that gives us some anxiety, if we're bein honest!
We know it's the holidays and money might be tight, but please do keep in mind that nobody is charged anything until Jan 20th 2025...and that's only if we meet our goal of $80K.
