I'm assuming that the BackerKit platform may be less expensive than other crowd-funding sites, but I don't know if you are getting the same level of visibility. I just lucked onto this myself.
Mercury, thanks for joining the campaign. I am glad you happened to find the campaign. Yes, it would make sense that we might get lower traffic on the new platform. BackerKit is not less expensive than other platforms, rather we chose to launch here to learn about the platform, to show support for their mission of making a platform that reacts to the needs of creators and backers, and because they offer great tools for prior to launch and for fulfillment. I really appreciate your feedback. Ted

Hi. I posted on FB last week and got a lot of negative feedback. Some felt it was too expensive for what you get. Others felt it was too big, and environmentally unsound. I really really want this to work, but I’m worried as clearly you are too.
Hi there! Thanks a ton for sharing on FB. Yes, the pricing appears to be an issue; we've been pricing everything in the midst of these inflationary increases but we also made a decision to build this heavily for durability and longevity. I am not sure that is the right value proposition, but it is the one I believe in most. Were the environmental concerns about burning hardwood or about the material and design? Ted
