Project Update: You are amazing! What happens next?
You are amazing! We successfully crowdfunded Steamboat Willie! Please enjoy the moment.
You also are a part of history. This is the 1st successful Steamboat Willie project in public domain.
What happens next? Here is he plan:
Once the story is finished, the manuscript will be sent to editors. Next it will be sent to our artist for artwork to highlight the story. When we get both back we will proof and then get it to the printer for printing.
This will take a while, but we'll give updates AND ask questions along the way to help with ideas around the story and printing.
We anticipate you'll receive your copy in 90-120 days, so expect a late December time at the earliest.
We have a Steamboat Willie VIP's Facebook group and if someone wants to create a Discord for us, please feel free to respond with the Discord invite.
We want to make sure you are kept appraised during the process.
