The pins finally arrived and I've been busy quality-checking them and putting them on backing cards!
That means I'll be ready to start packing and shipping them out to you later this week, ahhhh! XD

A quick update today to share with you the photos my manufacturer sent me of the completed pins! 😁

The fun bit first: I got a couple of photos from my manu of the pins they've finished making and they're looking good! :D
Here's the Equicervus, Hippocamp, and Sleipnir:

Now the not-so-fun-bit: US Tariffs. 🥲

I'm really sorry folks but in my research I've not come up with a way to get around the tariff fees. The good news is that I now know exactly how much it's going to be: 10% of the order value.
(There is a handling fee of £0.50 per parcel as well and I'm going to cover that part myself.)

- Unfortunately I can't currently afford to cover 10% of all the US orders myself so I've been in touch with Backerkit and they've arranged it so that I will charge that 10% through the Backerkit campaign. I'm really sorry that I have to do this! 🙁

- I have set the card-charge date for the 3rd of November so that you all have a bit of an advance warning, and you can check your pledge to see how much the charge is for your personal order.

- Please do message me if you have any questions!

- Future campaigns: In future I will be including the tariff charges for each order at the survey stage to be charged at the same time as Shipping costs, and I will make it clear in the campaign story how much the charge is going to be so that nobody is caught by surprise.

I hope you can understand why I've had to do this and will stick with me in the future! 🙏
Pin prices in Backerkit campaigns will remain lower than in my Etsy shop, where I've had to add a premium to US orders for now to cover all the fees.

Pin production is running somewhat behind schedule but I'm hoping I'll still be able to ship in early November.

Hello again folks!

I don't often have to do much in the way of rounds of revisions with my manufacturer but this time around there'ss been a bit of back-and-forth while I try to get everything just right so I thought I'd give you another quick update on progress. :)

I've now approved the Pegasus pin, with the minor edit to the mane managing to eliminate that little bit of recessed metal between the mane and wings, so here's the final proof:

I'm aaalmost there with the Sleipnir pin! We've eliminated most of the recessed metal sections in the mane and tail, with the exception of the small bit in the tail which I thought we'd have trouble removing completely.
I've asked them to change the rubber clutches on the back from white to blue, and I also just now noticed that they had the body colour down as 'white' when it should be 'pearl white' so I'm very glad I caught that one before production! Phew!
Here's how Sleipnir will look (but with blue clutches and pearl obvs):

For the Equicervus the edits I requested last time have eliminated the recessed metal sections from the foreleg, goatee and mane but haven't reduced the areas around the antlers, so I've taken one more pass at editing those to try and some of those sections as cut-outs for a cleaner look. Fingers crossed!

And finally the Centaur! The new face is looking better but I had a few picky notes for the designer to adjust the lines of the chin, eyebrow, nose and lips to better match my drawing. I've also asked for some tiny adjustments to line thickness, the angle of the front right leg, and the ends of the braids.

Hopefully the next proof they send me will be all good and I can approve production very soon!
