I love working from mythology and legend and while I was creating my Bestiary 2 collection (medieval inspired designs all featuring part-horse creatures of folklore) I researched a plethora of horse-mythology and I couldn't resist the idea of making a follow-up collection based on the Four Horsemen: Conquest, War, Famine and Death for Pintober! :D

OH NO! Several Pintober campaigns have been infested with FURBY today! 😱 It's unclear how many campaigns have been over-run so far but we're all going to need your help to round them up and get them back to their natural habitat!
Rumour had it that they were shapeshifting to blend in with all the Pintober campaigns so I managed to capture these two before their transformation was complete:

This 2" FURBTAUR hard-enamel pin is disappearing fast but his cries have attracted a whole new batch of rainbw-plated FURBTAURs! :O This 2" FURBTAUR is soft-enamel and rainbow-plated and can be chosen as initial pledge level or as an add-on! :D

And for the main course I present: The Horses of the Apocalypse!
Conquest will be a 2.5" gold hard-enamel pin. Though many people now know the first Horseman as Pestilence, the original legend refers to him as Conquest: the violent invasion and defeat of other nations! -
War will be a 2.5 gold hard-enamel pin. While Conquest refers to invading other nations, the Horseman of War originally referred to civil war and the division of empire.

Famine will be a 2.5" gold hard-enamel pin. The Horseman of Famine is often depicted as emaciated and commonly carries a set of scales. It represents not only natural famine but the unequal distribution of resources: as luxury goods remain accessible to the rich but the cost of basic food sources rise beyond affordability for the poor.

Death will be a 2.5" gold hard-enamel pin. Death is the fourth and final horseman, given power to kill a fourth of the earth by famine, sword, plague and wild beasts. The descriptions of this horse in the original Latin and Greek texts can either mean 'pale/pallid' or 'yelllowish'green'. Since the first horse is white I decided to lean into the green colour palette for this one!

Celestial pins
These are all 2" with two posts. The rainbow-plated versions are soft-enamel and the gold versions are hard-enamel with some recessed metal details.
And the pins from my two Bestiary collections, which include a bunch of horsey pals:
Abi's Bestiary Collection so Far
These are all soft-enamel, black-coated metal, and most of them are 2.5" wide (except for the Dragon and Harpy, which are 2", and Mari Lwyd, which is 1.5").
Backerkit will not charge you for your rewards until the campaign is completed.
You can adjust your pledge amount at any time before the end of the campaign.
When the campaign ends you will be sent a survey to choose the funded designs you would like for your rewards.
There will be updates throughout the campaign on the funding progress, and after the campaign through production and packing and posting.
Once the campaign is over, any remaining pins after fulfillment will be available via my Etsy shop, but without the multi-buy discounts available via pledging to the campaign.
International orders (outside of the UK) will be sent Tracked.
Shipping will be charged after the campagin ends, as part of the survey process. Please note that unlike Kickstarter, these costs are NOT INCLUDED in the pledge total before the campagin ends.
For international backers:
Backers are responsible for any customs or taxes that may be charged once the package enters your country.
For the USA: due to changes in US shipping law the new US Tariffs will be applied at checkout! The tariff rate will be 10% of your total order value.

Shipping estimates:
Estimates are estimates, based on current price lists and the weight of 1 to 6 pins. Actual shipping will be charged during surveys at the end of the campaign but I have done my best to estimate the post and packaging costs and Backerkit fees.
US shipping will increase slightly due to Royal Mail's £0.50 handling fee now charged for tariffed packages.
