French philosopher and public intellectual, born in Colombes in 1951. Ferry served as France’s Minister of National Education and is the author of numerous philosophical works, including Le Nouvel ordre écologique, which received the Prix Médicis Essai and the Jean-Jacques Rousseau Prize in 1992.
Clotilde Bruneau
WRITER
French comics writer, born in Paris in 1987. After studying visual arts and cinema, Bruneau entered comics in 2011. Her screenwriting credits also include animation, notably Les Kassos and season two of Lastman.
Didier Poli
ART DIRECTION AND STORYBOARD
French illustrator, comics artist, and art director, born in Lyon in 1971. Trained in applied arts at Émile Cohl and CFT Gobelins, Poli began in animation, including Disney productions Tarzan and The Emperor’s New Groove. He later became an art director in video games and has continued to work across comics, animation, games, design, and storyboarding.
Pierre Taranzano
ARTIST
French comics artist, born in Marseille in 1971. After studying applied arts, Taranzano participated in artistic collectives and explored painting before working as a stage-set decorator and storyboard artist for animation studios.
Stambecco
COLORIST
Bruno Tatti, who works under the name Stambecco, is a French comics colorist and illustrator. A self-taught artist, he continued his graphic training at Gobelins.
The Odyssey and The Iliad Hardcover Graphic Novels will be printed at standard US comics size trade hardcover: 6 5/8 x 10 3/16.
The Odyssey Graphic Novel estimated page count is 220+ pages. The Iliad Graphic Novel estimated page count is 160+ pages.

Final files will be going to the printer in China on January 21, 2027. It will take 4 months to print, ship and set-up at the Simon & Schuster fulfillment facility in Tennessee to start sending out the rewards.

Each slipcase will ship with corner protectors mounted beneath shrinkwrap.
Photos from the Simon & Schuster fulfillment center. All orders are shipped wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in packaging that fits the reward and avoids shifting in transit.
International customers, we recommend that you utilize package/freight forwarders to receive your rewards. This service will provide a US based address for your packages to be shipped to and you'll work with them directly to get your package to your location. These companies specialize in international delivery resulting in smoother shipping and lower costs. You will pay the lower US shipping fee and ABLAZE will send the package to the service. If you use a package/freight forwarder ABLAZE will provide size and weight to you to work with that service.
Ablaze will publish The Odyssey, The Iliad, and in exclusive formats available only to Backerkit backers. The editions will be finalized by the end of the campaign and will be going to the printer.
