Hi everyone! When I first started doing readings with the Chibi Terato Tarot, I did a deck interview with it to see how it would work with me. Check out my reading below:
From left to right: [This deck's strengths]: 6 of Swords - This deck will help me move forward towards a purposeful journey. [This deck's weakness]: 10 of Wands - It's not as experienced in matters of dealing with burnout and looking back... [This deck's specialty]: 9 of Swords - ...However, it can show me how to deal with negative emotions. [What this deck thinks of me]: Queen of Cups - I usually get a royal of the Cups suit, the Emperor, or Justice when decks talk about me in deck interviews, so this one tracks. I'm represented here as a creatively strong individual who is introspective. And finally, [how this deck will work with me]: 4 of Swords - Readings with it will provide reflection, a temporary stop on the way to the path forward.

Hi everyone! Today we're continuing with short, fun spreads that were read with the Chibi Terato Tarot - this time, focusing on relationships. I read this one myself about an evolving relationship I'm in - check out what the cards have to say below:
First is a card representing [person 1], in this case me, represented here by the [8 of Swords]. Whatever difficulties I have in the realm of thoughts and action, I can usually solve with my own strength from within. I do sometimes restrict myself and my thoughts, especially when thinking of ideas for art and writing, and that is embodied in this card.
Second, on the right side, is [person 2], represented by [5 of Coins]. This person has had a history of feeling like they weren't enough - they worry (sometimes overly so), but ultimately overcome adversity. Maybe it's also colored with my knowledge of their sense of loss that he's gone through, as I'm acutely aware of that feeling in my own life. Having help definitely makes their problems easier to shoulder.
Third in the middle is the [connection between us], with all that entails, shown to be [Ace of Swords]. It's a strong intellectual connection, mentally stimulating in addition to the usual kind of bonds in a relationship. This also comes with an outer layer of rationality and directness, but it's not the kind of bond that invites 'games'. It is a truthful connection.
8 of Swords and 5 of Coins are both interesting, as they point to different kinds of personal difficulties (material and internal) that are eased by another perspective. Relationships are a partnership after all, and while no one lives without issues, a good partnership can ease the sorrows of all involved.
It's a basic spread, so it is a broad overview, but more cards could be used with more nuanced effect. This type of spread can be used for all kinds of relationships, romantic, platonic, or any other kind of connection.

Hello! Today, I've decided to read the cards about financial fortune - and show through this example how you can too :o The Chibi Terato Tarot has a practical but kind energy, saying how things are but in an easy to digest way. This is reflected in today's reading:
The recent past is shown in the [reversed 4 of Cups], speaking of disappointment and removing oneself from a situation. There are less spaces available for meaningfully posting art online, and it financially affects artists like me.
The present is represented by the [reversed 2 of Coins] - I've had to be flexible with financial matters lately, as things have been out of balance in the material world.
My future in this area is the [6 of Swords], showing that despite difficulties, there is stability to look forward to in the path I see ahead.
Interestingly, there seems to be one of almost each suit represented here, with Cups leading to Coins and then Swords. Is the realm of Wands, full of passion and creativity, on the horizon after the outcome? This is another modified Past, Present, Future reading, albeit a straightforward variation.
The Chibi Terato Tarot is a good tool for both self-reflection and for finding out what may await you in the days and weeks ahead. This is what my next week looks like with the Chibi Terato Tarot Deck!
The lesson from last week is the [3 of Swords Reversed], the knowledge that I'm in the process of rejuvenation from recent events (emotional and physical difficulties).
The overview for this week comes in the form of [Knight of Wands]: my strong willpower enables me to overcome these challenges and utilize my creative strength more clearly.
Something specific for me to look out for in the coming days is [Temperance] - balancing my time for work, art, rest, and other aspects of my life. For someone prone to burnout and not resting enough, this is one to keep an eye on, and something I've been trying to work on more.
