I was going to paint that monster head statue behind him, but I thought it would take away from his monstrous traits and draw the eye too far that way, so I changed it to ruins and a tree. The painting seemed to need unity, so I added the gold accents everywhere :) It ended up looking very regal. I also softened his expression. Thank you so much for your support for this comic! I can't wait to send it to you and welcome you to the world of men and monsters :) - Aero
