Thank you so much for your patience and for supporting my artwork. The last few years were some of the most difficult of my life, and I am eternally grateful for your patience while I navigated new and turbulent waters. It's over now, and I'm glad you stuck with me on this journey.
It is with my deep apologies and gratitude that I thank you again for your patience - I am about to write about dealing with grief, illness, and death in the family, so skip over this next paragraph if it is a triggering topic for you. Thank you.
For those waiting for my comics which were also impacted by my life circumstances, I'd like to extend a special thank you and apology. As of the Chibi Terato Tarot Deck's campaign launch, I'm working on the comic as my highest priority again, which was not possible for some years - every time I finally worked through the grieving process of a death in the family, someone else became ill for an extended period of time, and ever since Covid lockdowns, I have been dealing with the stress and grief of non-stop sudden severe illnesses in my family, the grieving process, and death, and other stressful life circumstances exacerbated by all of this. I had made an update about my grandfather passing, but the truth was that there were several other situations before and after that which my family and I were dealing with. I didn't talk about it because I thought that my followers would not believe the unfortunate cycle that I was stuck in and the situations that kept popping up out of my control that interrupted and halted the in-progress projects that I had promised before the cycle began, and each time I thought I was in a better place. It really felt like it would never end, just this long horrible cycle of illness and grief and death.
Fortunately, my life has gained stability, and though I mourn what was, I am excited for what now can be.
I'm very excited to be working on my comic Skyset Knights as the priority again, and I'll be making more regular updates for it starting this month.
As a final note, I have a new completely finished deck, the Chibi Terato Tarot, that is already funded and taking pre-orders right now here on BackerKit - It's a campaign just for the deck and will be shipped within a month of the funds from the campaign getting to me. You can see photos of the prototype deck there, and I'll include one below!
