Pay Over Time allows you to split pledges of $150 or more (before shipping and tax) into four interest-free, automated monthly installments with no additional charges. If you accept the Pledge Over Time schedule your pledge is split into 4 equal payments. The first occurs immediately when the project ends successfully. The second payment occurs one month later, and the third and fourth payments on the months after that. You’ll see the payment schedule for your pledge at checkout, so that you know how much is due and the date of each payment when you back the project. It is your choice whether you want to split your payment into installments or pay in full in one payment. A: No worries! No action is required, and your pledge will not be forfeited. The system will automatically retry in 7 days. Q: What if multiple payments fail? A: If still unsuccessful after the retry, the missed amount will be added to your next scheduled charge. For example, if you miss two payments, both will be due together on the next scheduled retry. There is a grace period between each charge attempt, during which there will be one more attempt to resolve the failed status. If still unsuccessful, your payment plan will be forfeited, and you will not be able to reinstate the plan, and your remaining balance will be owed in full.

Once the project is funded and production is on the horizon, we will send out a BackerKit survey to collect the information we need to fulfill your order. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer shipping to all EU countries for this project. A new set of regulations (PPWR) went into effect in August of 2026, creating a significant administrative burden, especially for small businesses. Among the new requirements is that sellers must register in each EU country, even if that country has only one sale. Unfortunately, this is too burdensome for us to accomplish. Because of this, we are limiting our shipping to Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, and Italy. We wish it were not this way, but we do not control what regulators dictate.

The best option would be to hire a forwarding service (for example, in the US), where we ship it to their address, and then they are responsible for getting the books to you. This will protect your package, as we have lost packages in previous campaigns when sending from the USA to certain countries, and we want to avoid that. Another option is to ship to a friend or family member who lives in a country we are shipping to, and then they can hold it for you until you see them next. However, please note that we will only be responsible for tracking your package up to the destination you provided.

No, the $5 gets you early access (24 hours) and the book sleeve if you back the project. The $5 does not count as a credit toward a further purchase.

Our books will be printed abroad and shipped via ocean freight to a distribution facility in the United States, Canada, and/or the UK/Europe. From those facilities, our fulfillment partners will box individual orders and mail them. After our campaign ends, we will finalize the quantities of each item needed and order that quantity from suppliers. The supplier has told us it will take 6-9 months after the order is placed for the books to arrive at our warehouse. Because many of these steps are beyond our immediate control, we estimate we will ship physical items to you by August/September 2027. This is subject to change due to overseas shipping times, port congestion, geopolitical events, and other factors. We will alert you before shipping, and you can update your shipping address if you have moved. Also, because we use multiple shipping hubs, not all packages will ship at the same time. Certain regions may be fulfilled earlier than other regions. If anything changes, we will actively communicate with backers by providing an update on the project page (and via email).

If a package is lost or damaged, please email us with supporting photos, etc., and we will see what we can do. If a package shows as delivered, but is stolen/lost, we may not be able to replace it.

You may cancel your pledge up until the campaign ends on Oct. 6th. However, once the campaign ends Backerkit will charge for your pledge as soon as the campaign ends. We are moving quickly to order everything and get it into your hands as fast as possible. We will order materials and commit to purchasing these amounts based on the pledged quantities. As such, we are unable to offer refunds after the campaign ends. However, you can cancel/edit your pledge before the end of the campaign.

The survey where you insert your shipping address will be editable until we lock it at a date very near the actual shipping date. So, if you move in that time, you can update your shipping address. We will send a reminder before locking addresses.

While some retail locations may sell other special editions of The Game Changers, this will be the only print run of the AH² special editions. US-based bookstores can purchase the bookseller tier to sell the books in their own stores. We may sell overstock in future crowdfunding campaigns. While it might be possible to find these special editions on the market, if you really want them, locking them in now by pledging to this campaign is your best bet.

Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
