P.S. We're building another bot in the polls... :D Among other things of course!

Project Update: The Lucky Machine: Coming to The Book Bazaar in 10 days... Nov 12th, 2025
I am so grateful that so many of you enjoyed The Warm Machine... So much so that plenty of you reached out to me to
Guess what? She's here.
Coming as part of The Book Bazaar 2025, The Lucky Machine follows Inix during her time between meeting Zev and Sterling, and then coming back to them in the landfill. The story is cozier than The Warm Machine focuses on a friendship forged between a disillusioned cyborg named Sylvan and Inix, which brings Inix on her own journey of self-discovery. It also fleshes out more of life in the multi-leveled city and its surroundings, introduces new characters (and new ways to be dystopian ðŸ˜), and gives a warm hug to more of the sci-fi you (and I) know and love.
You can expect to find similar themes in this book, but since Inix is more emotionally attuned than our -- ahem -- working bots in The Warm Machine, you may find it an easier read stylistically. Additionally, the only romance in this book is love between friends (and a perhaps unhealthy adoration for a certain sewing machine) as Inix, though not yet stated outright and despite her previous life, is asexual/aromantic coded.
We'll be funding a similar length novella with the same quality of printing via paperback/hardcover, with an additional supplemental story/illustrations. As part of the campaign, I'll also be creating with you, the backers, a 90s style paper doll to really lean into Inix's newfound love for fashion. ;) She's already got one sheet of fashion, can't wait to make some more! I hope you'll sub to get notified when this project goes live!
As with any group crowdfunding project, we're also providing rewards to those who back more to get more. This year we'll be working on an anthology... Support 5+ campaigns to receive a 2025 The Book Bazaar anthology! That's not all, though. For the 3 weeks of The Book Bazaar we'll be streaming, posting on social media, providing sneak peeks, and lots more (Someone was talking about a SCAVENGER HUNT! Woo!). So make sure to follow along to catch everything!
Can't wait to see you all there. We're gonna have so much fun.

Project Update: Coming soon: The Book Bazaar
If you love indie books and small publishers, you'll like this new iteration of Booktopia-like group book collaboration called The Book Bazaar. Launching in mid November, The Book Bazaar is an indie-run publishing based group collaboration crowdfunding event and will feature many Booktopia 2024 participants as well as a slew of debut authors, returning authors, artists, and so much more.
While it's still a little early to talk about the projects inside of The Book Bazaar (👀There may be a follow up to The Warm Machine that everyone was asking for. Shhhhhhh) I wanted to let all campaign backers know about this new group collaboration event in advance, because we will be taking applications for campaigns that want to participate until July of 2025. So, if you have a project you want to include as part of a group crowdfunding event, this is your opportunity to get in on a smaller sized event, make some great indie connections, and help get your publishing project funded! For details and the application form, take a look at The Book Bazaar on BackerKit or The Book Bazaar website.
Can't wait to talk more about the next book that will be part of the bazaar. Next update to come soon!

Project Update: That's it, that's the whole thing!
With exception to 4 people who have not completed their surveys. I have sent you an email if this is you and you still haven't received anything yet, check your spam, check your promotions tab... Better yet, log into BackerKit and check your account surveys area and click the big blue button that says "Fill out your survey". I'd love to get these out to you folks before the holidays and finish out the project!
To those of you who have received, I hope you enjoy it! Some of you have left me such kind notes about what you thought of the story, left some really sweet reviews, and got me seriously considering penning up a sequel of some sort. If that happens, I'll be sure to let everyone know via my art newsletter as well as through BackerKit Launch. If you're so inclined, you can leave a review at: Amazon and GoodReads.
Of additional note: Through this weekend (12/2 is the last day) if you want to order another copy, perhaps for a friend or family member, if you order directly through IngramSpark, I get to keep more of the money as IS is waiving a certain fee for this weekend. You can grab the paperback here, and the hardcover here if you want to do that. Other BackerKit bits will roll out to my shop over the following weeks including print extras and bookmarks (those are available now) if you missed out and wanted to grab any of those.
My next project launching in a couple of months is a robotics, Asimov-inspired pin set called Positronic Visions. You can check it out using the link there, but I'll be sending emails through BackerKit's Launch system soon so you'll get some stuff through there if you're still subscribed as well (I'll try to be as least annoying as possible about it). I think that project is going to be super limited edition so make sure you hop on as soon as you can if you want those designs!
Thank you so much for all of your support and I really, genuinely hope you enjoy my silly robot story.

Project Update: Hardcovers are FINALLY here!
[KAZOO NOISES] The hardcovers are FINALLY HERE and you folks were right - the spines DID align in the bulk order, much to my relief.
Many of you may have already gotten a notification that your order has shipped. I worked hard this morning to get through the biggest bulk of the orders that I could!
Unfortunately, I seem to have under-ordered the booty bot butt bonus print, so I had to stop with just a few people left on the list. No worries though - I ordered a bunch more and they'll be here very quickly.
As a reminder, unlike the characters in the book, I am human, and I am packing all of these alone, so if I mess up somewhere and forget something, please reach out to me and let me know and I'll fix it the best I can. But pretty please - check all through your packaging before reaching out to me. I packed metal bookmarks behind cardboard for the paperbacks so they didn't damage the paperbacks, so just make sure you go through everything I sent.
Excited to almost have this fully fulfilled and out to all you fine folks!
Quick reminder: I'm packing with the books QR codes for where you can go to leave a review if you have a minute, but I'm also including that here: Amazon and GoodReads. (Don't mind that first 1 star saying it was written by AI; as you know, I am staunchly anti-AI and that review was a childish retaliation review because I exposed an AI grift on my blog... ;) Just me and my regular brand of drama)
Thank you everyone! I hope you enjoy!! We're almost at the finish line and best yet - you've almost all got your books!
