In an abandoned part of the Wood, out of sight to all but a small village, a crumbling wine estate peeks through the trees on the hillside. Its presence is shadowed, perhaps literally, by what townsfolk have come to call "the cloud tower." It used to be "the tower of Ralbag" up until recently, but the structure has been enveloped in a thick, persistent mist since an earthquake struck four weeks ago. This unusual weather event, resembling volcanic activity, has led to a call for surveyors–partly funded by the village's treasury.
Liquid Euphoria is a one-shot Cairn 2E adventure set in the outskirts of Vald, the official Cairn setting. It features addictive grapes with foggy side effects, an undead scholar of the Roots (the vast underground network of pitch-black caves where mysterious forces abound), and a tribe of tunneling creature sieged by a lethal predator.
