Will the format of Daybreak limit the influence of "Alpha" gamers? That was my original complaint about Pandemic, and it a reason I lean more to Spirit Island as a game.

We think the game strikes a nice balance between group decision-making and letting players make their own choices. Each player has a lot to manage with their board and we find that, similar to Spirit Island, there isn't much room for those kind of dominant players.

I will add... that I just played it last night, and I was the only one who fully knew the rules, and there was still pretty minimal quarterbacking. The local phase kinda motivates people to do their own thing since it's simultaneous. And would take a lot of effort for one person to dictate everyone's moves
