So, if you're going to make a pen portfolio designed around the idea of accommodating a large variety of pens, you have to actually HAVE a large variety of pens. We obviously had plenty of our pens around, but beyond those, Jess and I have pretty small collections, just a few favorites from local shops and a trip to the Chicago Pen Show a few years back.

Enter Lisa Anderson of Anderson Pens. I called Lisa out of the blue once we had our first prototype and asked if we could borrow some pens to test and photograph the Reliquary. Not only did she lend us a giant selection, she also gave us a truckload of advice from her years of experience. Her insight and kindness is all over this project.
