so, good news! i wanted to share a few exciting things with you guys:

first, I've actually had these for a while, but the returning backer stickers have arrived safe & sound!

the kraft paper stickers have been ordered, as well (the 48 hr supporter sticker), so once those have arrived, anyone who JUST ordered stickers from the campaign may actually get their orders as soon as next month!!

obviously this will still be after shipping & such is collected thru pledge manager, but it's still pretty exciting!

next, i know quite a few of you had asked about the possibility of original series batpacks being available as add-ons. i didn't want to promise this ahead of time, since i wasnt 100% sure how soon id have extra batpacks in hand, but GREAT news... 👀

extra batpacks are FINALLY starting to arrive!! 🦇❤️

i want to set a few aside to be able to sell in-person, and i have a VERY limited stock overall, but because i know so many of you were hoping to get them, i'm considering adding some to the flying friends pre-order store; this means that people who didnt pledge to the project at all could still order one, plus you guys could add them as add-ons when you fulfill your pledges!

there is ONE big catch, though. because these batpacks are now here with me in canada, any orders to the US will now have to pay tariff fees. you all already know this, but the original batpack campaign AND the batpack series 2 campaign im doing in may were/will be fulfilled in the states.

however, I can't guarantee that ALL the original batpack color variants will be available in may, either. i only want to restock the most popular colors, to try and focus on the new series 2 bags! so that's all stuff to keep in mind.

regardless, I still have to finish setting up pledge manager & collecting everyone's pledge funds, so this isnt something you guys will need to worry about for another week or so!

we made it to the other side, everyone -- this year's pintopia is officially over, and with a little over 7k total raised, we were able to unlock cactus bat at the very end! 🦇❤️🎉 thank you all so, SO much for your support! 🥹

so, what comes next for the campaign?

over the next two weeks, your cards will be charged for your pledged amount. 

this means that your card will be charged twice; once for your pledge, and once for your pledge manager survey (unless you're choosing to pay over time; you wont be able to pay your shipping/tariff costs until your pay over time pledge is paid off).

once we've confirmed the total design quantity, we'll begin production on the pins. i had estimated a late summer/early fall shipping date for the project, but it's looking like we may end up shipping orders a lot sooner than that! FINGERS CROSSED 🤞

in the meantime, ive got a new poll up so that we can estimate some rough numbers for pin production! i'll have some more updates ready for you guys in the coming weeks ❤️

good morning, everyone! it's the final day to pledge to the campaign -- and we just need $150 more in order to unlock the cactus brown bat design! 🦇

it doesn't look like we'll be able to unlock the final stretch goal after this, sadly -- we may be able to unlock it later during pre-orders, but it's not guaranteed! id have to see what the final campaign totals look like first (once everyone's cards have been charged) before i'll know if it's possible/feasible.

let's try to get one last final push in these last few hours! we have overtime mode enabled, so pledging in the last ten minutes before the project ends will extend the project by another 10 minutes!

also, by popular demand, i went ahead and added the old bat pins i found as add-ons! theyre nearly 7 years old & many of them are B grades, so i'm selling them at a pretty steep discount if you want to grab one!

I was ALSO going to post about how I found exactly TWO of one of the stretch goals for this old campaign -- another cactus bat pin! -- but you guys already snatched them up before I could even post about it! 😭❤️

we're down to the wire! it would be awesome to be able to reach the next stretch goal at the very least, so let's try to get that last $300 together before the end of the campaign tomorrow 😤🦇 i believe in us!!

finally, i wanted to share a little blast from the past with you guys -- among some of the merch that was sent up to me were these original bat pins i designed all the way back in 2019!

you can see where i drew inspiration to remake the honduran white bat pin for this campaign! it's really cool to see how differently i'm approaching pin design 6/7 years later.
