Hi everyone. Backer surveys have been approved and we're sending out the smoke test this evening. That means about 5% of you will receive you survey, and assuming that goes off without any technical issues, then the rest of the surveys will go out. We've got books ready to go so we can start emailing and shipping copies as soon as surveys are done and we have addresses!

Both paperbacks are eBooks are ready to start sending out, so once you receive your survey, be sure to fill it out and verify your email and physical shipping address ASAP.

We can't tell you enough how grateful we are to all of you who backed this campaign. Your pre-orders help ensure that we can afford to pay all the authors the SFWA pro-rate of 8 cents per word for an anthology of science fiction set in the first every second world created exclusively by African authors and artists. Let's just sit back for a moment and celebrate this accomplishment that together, you've helped these amazing authors and artists achieve!

Now that the campaign has ended, we're shifting into fulfillment mode. For those who backed the campaign, in the coming days you'll receive a survey that will ask you to provide the information we need in order to make sure you get all the perks that come with your backer tier. For most of you that will simply be a confirmation of your email address and asking for your shipping address.

Its vital that you fill out the survey, especially if you have physical perks coming. If you don't fill out survey, then we won't have your shipping address, and we will not be able to send you your books. 

For those who didn't back the crowd funder, you can still get the book! Just CLICK HERE to pre-order the eBook and paperback from the Android Press website. The book will also be available through other online retailers in about a week.

We can't say thank you enough to those who've already pledged and backed MOTHERSOUND: THE SAUÚTIVERSE ANTHOLOGY campaign. We recently hit the $3,000 mark, which means we're more than half way to our base goal!

It also means that the first bonus content is officially unlocked, woo-hoo! All backers will get an animated version of the book cover, in addition to the other perks that come along with your pledge tier.

We still need to raise $2,000 to get funded. And then we need to raise another $5k after that to make sure we can pay 8 cents per word for all the stories in the book. You can help support African authors and African science fiction by sharing the campaign with your friends and family, especially the readers, and encouraging them to support with a pledge or a share!
