I wanted to take a moment today to reflect on the theme of this collection. Cat shows are the "scene" but the spirit of the campaign is celebration and encouragement.
I'm a big fan of celebrating achievements, no matter how small. Sometimes our best is putting on pants. Other times it might be showing up for those that need us. It might be being scared of something and doing it anyway. It might be doing the dishes.

Today, I think I'd like to celebrate taking some time for myself.
It's really warm today, probably one of the last really nice beach days of the year. I didn't go to the ocean, but I went to a park by a river that had sandy beaches on the riverbanks. I'd never been there before.
I wasn't feeling the greatest, but I made myself some snacks and drove over there. I found a little spot and listened to music, read a little bit, and generally stared off into the distance.
Taking time like that is fun to dream about but not always easy to do. But, I did it, and I'm glad I did.
