Calming Kitty UNLOCKED
Good news! Calming Kitty is NOW UNLOCKED and can be selected through any tier that has at least one plush toy! When the campaign ends, you will receive a survey through Backerkit that will allow you to choose the character you want (Fox or Kitty) and the colors you want for those plush toy(s)! Don't worry, it will be super easy and simple!
Want to add Calming Kitty to your pledge? Simple add the Plush Toy add-on and again, you can let us know you want your plush to be one of the Calming Kitty designs when you get your survey! :)

🏳️🌈 Calming Kitty Progress + How it's Done!
We are currently in the early stages of Calming Kitty's prototypes but I wanted to show you all the process of making a plush toy! I am so happy that the manufacturer got this done so quickly!
My manufacturer first gives me a rough shape of the plush before working on embroidery, which is why there are pape cut outs and markers in place of any details. This really helps steamline prototype making since the manufacturer won't be slowed down by digitizing embroidery files and also waiting for the correct fabric to arrive. Once the plush shape is 100% approved, the correct fabric and embroidery will be done!
In addition to the revisions, the fabric will be changed to the same fabric as the other Pocket Friends, so the super soft fake fur! Right here, it is minky, which needs to be changed.
To the left, I gave my revisions for the plush toy and to the right, I did a quick (pretty bad.. lol) photo manipulation to give the manufacturer a better idea of how the revisions will look like.

Depending on the funds released to me, I will see if I can put the 2nd character stretch goal into production still! If we still need a bit of funding then I will have a preorder /add-on feature through the survey. I will let you all know soon!
🏳️🌈 What's Next?
Backerkit will release funds to me in 2 weeks! In the meantime, I am finishing off the survey, which I started on before the campaign is over. The surveys will go live once all stretch goal prototypes are 100% done and approved! This way, you will know exactly what you can choose from when you receive your survey.
Surveys should be going out in August! Through the surveys, you will be able to enter your shipping address, pay for your shipping costs, select the items you want, and more! I will make another update once the surveys have been sent out, which you will receive in your email inbox in August.

Once you receive your surveys in August, you will be able to select the exact plush toys, enamel pins.etc! Don't worry, it is super easy and I will make sure the survey is straightforward.

Once you receive your surveys in August, you can add any additional items to your pledge! :)

I (Nao), didn't expect to be so close to the $60,000 goal so quickly, so I cannot thank you enough! We will be getting this goal for sure!!
In addition to the two (2) Calming Kitty plush toys, I am still crunching numbers to see if I can get more designs for Anxiety Fox plush toys as well. Production costs have significally risen since my first Pocket Friends campaign last year, so I am doing my best! We have released more items in this campaign than the first one, at half of the funding amount, so It is a juggling act! Thank you so much for your understanding ❤️.

🏳️🌈 New Character Stretch Goal
As promised.. here is the new stretch goal.. Calming Kitty joins the Pocket Friend series! Calming Kitty joins Anxiety Fox & Friends back in 2020 so we are so excited for them to join the Pocket Friend plush series, with your help! They will have the original design, as well as a Progress flag design!
In addition, I discussing with our manufacturer to see if we can add more flags to the current Anxiety Fox line of Pocket Pride flags for this tretch goal as well!! We will have an answer with the next update! :)
