Project Update: Progress and campaigns!
Hey everybody,
I just wanted to let you know that the production timeline is moving along fairly well. I haven’t gotten any photos yet from the manufacturer, but I can say that all of the molds have been made and they are now being filled with enamel so I would imagine in the next week or two for certain designs, I will be getting photos as proof to go back-and-forth with to make sure everything looks correct.
But at least we know they’re moving in the right direction, and the stickers will be ordered shortly. The timeline on getting those made is a lot faster than the pins themselves so I’m going to wait a touch closer to their finalization before I order those..
I will probably order all of the stickers once I know the pins are out of enamel filling and onto the more detailed uv/screen printing.
The next campaign launches in one day and 20 hours!
I’m really excited for this set. I have designed over 20 different possibilities for this series. It has a ton of different stretch goals in multiple sizes. Most of my pins are going to be a standard $25 which is kind of nice. I only have a few that will be much bigger or more complicated than have a different price point.
They will all come on cards that are nice and resealed so I don’t have to fight with packaging them all myself quite as much.
I even included a design that will be the final stretch goal where if I hit that goal any proceeds after production cost that’s necessary will be donated up to $2000 over .
If I go significantly over that, then I will probably unlock different colors or pull out older pins that haven’t been seen in a long time that have a similar aesthetic and re-launched them!
Either way, I’m super excited about this set. I’ve had a blast design designing them for the past few months.
