Project Update: March (only slight Madness) Update!
It's going to be a short one this month. We're all chugging away at work- Melissa's just sent in some new inks that are looking wonderful (and showcasing a truly heartbreaking character backstory!). Jordaan is gearing up for a dialogue pass on the script, and I... well, in all honesty, I've been a bit absent because this week marked a new addition to my family.
He's 5 pounds, has the most beautiful grey eyes, and has taken a liking to all of my slippers.
We should still be on schedule, but we'll let you know if anything changes. Until next month, all the best to you and yours! And because it is illegal to mention you got a puppy without sharing a picture...

Project Update: January Update + Character Spotlight!
We hope you all had a restful holiday season! We're back for 2026 with our first bit of news... THE PENCILS ARE COMPLETE! What this means for you, in a nutshell, is we are on time, on schedule, and still chugging towards a print date of July of this year.
I thought it might be fun for this month's update to take you through the art process a bit, from thumbnail to finished art. Who better to do that with than January's spotlighted character?

Project Update: December Update
We are still on target for a July 2026 release for the book. Melissa, Artist Extraordinaire, has just moved house and is settling into her newfangled office with plans to bang out the rest of the art by end of year. Then, as planned, we will sweep the dialogue, get the thing lettered, print, and start fulfillment.
We got some pins in, and they look amazing.
For January's update, we're going to do a character spotlight. Backers will be able to see who it is. Until then, Happy Holidays to you and yours, and we'll see you in the new year!

Project Update: Update! Schedule! I always come up with a third thing!
First off, it has come to our attention that our current update structure (aka, update when there is news) isn't working for everyone. Thus, we are pledging to update by the 15th of the month for every month until the book is released. Even if the update is just "we're working on it", we'll make sure you feel like a part of the process.
Onto the update! After speaking with our incredible artist, Melissa, we are confident about a July 2026 release date. Melissa should be done all the pencils by the end of this month. So the plan from there will be:
- Melissa finishes the colours
- Jordaan and Natalie do a dialogue pass/punch-up to make sure all is well before
- LETTERING IS DONE
- Books are printed
