These adorable little elemental sprites are crocheted by hand with a handmade crocheted emblem for each element. Starting with Fire, Water, Earth and Air, let's see if we can unlock more elemental plushies after these 4.
These impossibly cute, hand crocheted plushie elemental sprites are each holding a mini crocheted emblem of their element, a flame for fire, swirls on a circle for air, a water droplet for water and a leaf for earth. Each is made from acrylic yarn, hypoallergenic stuffing and plastic safety eyes.
They are adorably smoll, soft and squishy, fitting in the palm of your hand, each is roughly 5cm (2 inches) in diameter.
They are the stars of the next Atikin Games mint tin game: Elemental Island. The money raised during this campaign will help towards the production of prototypes and preview copies of Elemental Island.
I also crocheted the ocean and a volcano for the final 'Elemental Island' game and plan for the graphics to all be photos of these.
I have been designing my first enamel pins as stretch goals for this campaign. I have designed one for each of my published board games as well as some meeple and D20 designs. One will be unlocked for every £200-£500 raised (dependent on the design) during this campaign. I always like to make sure backers have their say, so the order that these pins are unlocked will be voted on by backers. Each pin is roughly 1 inch.

You will steal from other cats, flaunt your spoils in front of cats to increase their value, and move quickly past dogs. Use Special Actions to flip toys to their more valuable side, move toys on the board and even take a cat nap to save points for later use.

Canine Capers Canine Capers is a cute and fun board game in a mint tin. You play as a determined dog who is investigating their neighbourhood, sniffing out clues and to solve the imagined capers going on in their little country village. Work together to reach clues in time and secure them at Canine P.D. to earn points and solve the caper of the day.
You can give and take clues between dogs, and utilise the sly foxes on the board to help you retrieve more valuable clues that have been pilfered by sneaky cats. Use your Special Actions to jump to home, move clues on the board, enhance your clues, move diagonally and even send clues back to the resource pool in order to extend your playing time.

Mini Memory Mischief Mini Memory Mischief is a sweet, retro, quite nerdy little mint tin game. It’s 2 player and takes about 10-15 minutes to play. In the game players are trying to get letters in alphabetical order on their memory stack. It’s not as easy as it sounds though! Atikin Games is an indie tabletop games publisher and very much a one woman show. It's just me, Nikita, hi! I do all the game design, art, writing, etc for my games and gaming accessories. I'm very proud of my work and love the board gaming community and being a part of it.
My 6th game Malus Hortus funded on Kickstarter last year and I'm looking forward to sending everyone's rewards out soon. Malus Hortus was the second game I ever designed but due to the size of the game and intricacy of the art it will actually be my sixth game to be published. This game deserved the extra time and attention given to make it all that it can be which is why I’m very excited it funded and is currently being manufactured.
I run The Indie Tabletop Newsletter which is full of news from other indie designers and is released once a month. And I regularly host weekly #BoardGamersLifts over on Bluesky that any board game enthusiasts can get involved in.

There's Captain; he's the Atikin Games mascot and even has his own page on the website. He's a wonderful mascot and a great therapy cat when times are tough. He's also very good at testing the durability of a game.
My husband is always my first play tester, and then another close family friend helps as well, allowing me to iron out any possible problems and strengthen the game before play testing with a larger audience.
