Project Update: The Factory joins 11 other books translated from around the globe to support Global Voices Lingua

Hi - Chris here. Just a quick update to say we are super excited that The Factory is just one of the amazing books included in a digital bundle being sold through StoryBundle this month to support Global Voices Lingua, a project dedicated to translating stories into dozens of languages, creating accessibility to stories told by those writing in languages rarely covered by mainstream media.

These 12 books have been translated into English (some exclusively for the first time) from:

Shona (Zimbabwe): Sunshine City by Pauline Chirata-Mukondiwa, translated by Zukiswa Wanner
Korean (Korea): Launch Something! by Bae Myung-hoon, translated by Stella Kim
Arabic (Palestine): No One Knows Their Blood Type by Maya Abu Al-Hayyat, translated by Hazem Jamjoum
Hausa (Nigeria): Sin Is a Puppy That Follows You Home by Balaraba Ramat Yakubu, translated by Aliyu Kamal
isiZulu (South Africa): I Thought It Would Rain by Nakanjani G. Sibiya, translated by Sifiso Mzobe
Tamil (India): The Aayakudi Murders by Indra Soundar Rajan, translated by Nirmal Rajagopalan
Malay (Malaysia, Singapore, and the Diaspora): Singa-Pura-Pura, edited and translated by Dr. Nazry Bahrawi
Thai (Thailand): The Sad Part Was by Prabda Yoon, translated by Mui Poopoksakul
Brazilian Portuguese (Brazil): Visible Magic, stories by Giu Murakami and Fernanda Castro, translated by Anna Martino
French (Canada): Hieroglyphs: The Celestial Conspiracies written and translated by Talhí Briones
Nishinaabemowin (Wiikwemkoong): Sit with Us, written and translated by Kenn Pitawanakwat
Ukrainian (Ukraine): The Factory by Ihor Mysiak, translated by Yevheniia Dubrova and Hanna Leliv

Project Update: Livestream Tonight (and Songs for the Shadows release day!)

Small presses run on really tight timelines, and this one is no exception.

Today is the official release date for Songs for the Shadows! However, we are still waiting on the printer to deliver copies for this campaign. I expect to get Songs for the Shadows this week and The Factory before the end of the month.

Books will ship out to you as soon as we receive them. If you are getting more than one title, we'll need to wait until we have everything to put into your shipment.

Livestream chats!

Atthis Arts will be hosting four engaging chats over the next two weeks (Emily has assured me they will be "fun and also cathartic"). Project Update: Surveys, E-books, and Audiobooks!

Hey everyone!

We are ready to start delivering books -- well, the digital stuff at least. And we're ready to collect shipping info for all of the print books!

You will be receiving a "survey" from BackerKit via email in the next day or two. If you are unfamiliar with BackerKit, this survey is the final checkout process. You will confirm your pledge level including add-ons, pick any additional add-ons, provide shipping address and payment (if needed).

At the end of this checkout (survey), you will be able to download all of the available digital content for your reward level.

Some of the books are still being printed. As soon as we receive them, we'll get them out to you!
