Closing pledge manager, and Ex tenebris
Hi folks
Lovecraftesque shipping was completed over 6 months ago and so we're now preparing to close the pledge manager. If you're one of the handful of people who haven't yet completed their surveys, you've got until the end of the month to get that done - after that, you can still get in touch with us to arrange delivery of your order, but you won't be able to do it via pledge manager.
Lovecraftesque has been doing really well since we published, with excellent take-up by retailers. Thank you all for your support to make it happen. If you've been playing the game, we'd love to hear from you - tell us about it in comments.
While I'm here, I'll mention that we have a new crowdfunding campaign out for Ex Tenebris, a star-spanning gothic investigation TTRPG. It uses similar mechanics to Lovecraftesque to run a GMed occult mystery in space. Like Lovecraftesque, it's a gorgeous piece of visual design, with outstanding art and layout. So if you fancy getting hold of some grimdark horror mystery gaming action, check it out:

Shipping is go!
Hey folks
Just a quick update to say that Lovecraftesque 2e shipping has begun - indeed some folks have already started to receive their stuff. If you've got yours, please do post below to tell us, including where in the world you are, as it helps us get an idea of how things are going. Bonus points if you send us a photo!
Timing-wise:
Just a quick update to say that Lovecraftesque 2e shipping has begun - indeed some folks have already started to receive their stuff. Timing-wise:
- The Eastern half of the US were first out of the gate, and have started to arrive already.
- The non-US stuff is shipping from a UK warehouse this week, and arrival time will vary depending where in the world you are.
- The Western half of the US got stuck in customs for a LONG time, so even though it arrived in port first, it's shipping last. Shipping should commence imminently.
- Custom cards and, in some cases, non-Lovecraftesque rewards will be coming separately, so don't worry if you get a package that doesn't contain everything. In particular some of our zines are only in stock at Black Armada HQ in the UK, so if you ordered any of those it's likely you'll be getting them from us, and that may mean it takes longer - outside the UK, 6-8 weeks is the expected delivery time.

Charging cards and addresses locking in 48 hours
Hey folks
To my slight surprise, the first of our three shipments (the one for the US Eastern half) arrived at the warehouse on Friday. That means we'll be commencing shipping early next week. The US Western half and rest of world will follow soon after. This is not a drill!
To ensure that we have final details ready to share with our shipping partners, in 48 hours time I am going to:

To ensure that we have final details ready to share with our shipping partners, in 48 hours time I am going to:
- Charge cards for shipping; and
- Lock addresses
That will be a little after 16:00 GMT (i.e. 11:00 EST).
Keep an eye out for any card error warnings when the shipping is charged - as you'll know, these things seem to happen to a random selection of backers on any given occasion.
If you realize your address is wrong after that point, please get in touch urgently. The best way to do this is to email josh (at) blackarmada (dot) com.

Lovecraftesque is shipping soon!

I'm excited to say that Lovecraftesque is now on a boat (three boats actually) and on its way to warehouses in the US and UK. Shipping to customers will commence soon after - likely in January.
If you are one of the many folks signed up for updates on the project but haven't yet backed - now is a good chance to jump on! We will be putting the price in early January when we close pre-orders, so don't miss the chance to pay less.
If you're a backer, you may see final notifications come in some time in the next month, warning you that you're about to be charged for shipping and your address locked. If you have any add-ons you want, or if you are changing address, you need to update your order before that happens.
As planned, the shipments left in late November, and are expected to arrive at the port late Dec/early Jan. There's another week or two for it to get from port to warehouse, and then time for the warehouse to pack everything up and send it out. So I would think late January is the most likely date for the product to be shipped to you - and arrival times dependent on where in the world you are.
For backers who (like me) enjoy watching a little dot move across a map, there's tracking details for each shipment below, along with pictures of some boats.

November update
Hey folks
Everything is almost but not quite entirely unchanged since our last update:

- The estimated ship dates have been updated to 22 November (today!) for the UK and US East Coast shipments, and 25 November (Tuesday!) for the US West Coast shipment.
- However that hasn't changed the estimated arrival dates, which are late December for all three shipments. That's the date for arrival at a warehouse, not the date you'll receive it.
- I am personally assuming that those dates are optimistic. Shipping is unpredictable at the best of times and these are not the best of times. So I am assuming that the real arrival date will be in January.
- The dates for shipping to customers is therefore still expected to be around January, with arrival times dependent on customer location.
It only remains for me to remind you that shipping has not yet been charged! We will charge shipping once the product starts being sent out to customers. I will let you know when that is imminent.
One last thing - we will be at Dragonmeet in London in a week's time, and we'd love to see you there! You can find us on the UK Indie League stall; Becky will be on the solo journaling panel at 3pm and the women in gaming panel at 4pm, while Josh will be on the indie hotness panel at 5pm; and in the morning Josh will be running a multi-table Lovecraftesque game called Dark Legacy, for which there is exactly 1 seat still available. Book here if you'd like to join Dark Legacy.
We'll do another update in late December, when hopefully Lovecraftesque will be close to our shores.

Hi there, I got a shipping notice from Zatu on 31 January and it says on here that my order has shipped. But I didn't get any shipment tracking from Zatu. I reached out to Zatu and they told me to get in touch with Black Armada about my shipment. So apparently it has all shipped but I have no idea where or when or even if I am receiving anything. Hello. I received the shipment from Zatu Games today and only the core game was included. The way bill and shipping notification email lists Citidels of Shadows, Echos of the Past, Lovecraftesque, and Waves of Darkness - my pledge level is EVERYTHING. So it was a bit of a let down to only find the core game got delivered. I even looked inside the game box to see if it they were placed inside. But no dice. Can the printed versions of the three expansions be shipped to me?
