Good folk and noble backers of Black Talon Games,  let it be known across every hall, tavern, and tournament ground: The manuscript is complete. The ink has dried. The banners are raised.

Knights – The Grand Tourney now stands forged in full. Its pages are filled with rival orders, heralds’ calls, courtly favor, and the thunder of hooves upon the lists. Within, champions shall clash in jousts, duels, and grand melees, while intrigue, prestige, and peril weave through every contest.

From the roaring stands to the shadowed depths of Emberfall’s Black Tourney, the work is done, and it is ready to ride forth.

Soon, the final preparations begin as this creation marches toward delivery, with fulfillment expected swiftly (as soon as the Herald has completed his last "once-overs").

To all who pledged their coin, their voice, and their faith, you have not merely backed a project…  you have entered the lists.

To celebrate this milestone, I’m excited to share two updates from the lists:

A New Knight Rides Forth

We’ve secured a new piece of artwork featuring a formidable knight that will be incorporated into the book. This piece captures the pageantry, steel, and stoicism that define the Grand Tourney, and it will help bring the spirit of the Five Orders to life within these pages.

More previews will follow soon, but know that the visual identity of this zine continues to grow stronger because of your support.

Create Your Own Coat of Arms

We are also adding a brand-new roll table: Forge Your Own Coat of Arms.

This table will allow players to generate heraldry for their knights: colors, charges, symbols, mottos, and meanings.  So you can ride into the tournament bearing a banner truly your own.

Whether you fight beneath a crimson dragon, a silver thorn, a black tower, or a golden sun, your heraldry will tell a story before your lance ever strikes.

We are halfway to bringing this tournament to print. The braziers are lit, the stands are filling, and the lists await.
