How does BackerKit crowdfunding work?
Crowdfunding is a collaborative way to bring ideas and projects to life. Project creators post their idea for a project, and backers pledge money to make the project possible. Backers get behind the scenes access and backer-only rewards, which can include exclusive products, special pricing, creative input, content, and more.
To become a backer, select a pledge level that features the reward(s) you would like to receive when the project is successfully completed and make your contribution.
All-or-nothing crowdfunding model: The creator sets a funding goal and a deadline to raise funds. If the project does not meet the goal by the deadline, backers credit cards are not charged and no money changes hands.
Crowdfunding projects can happen at various stages of the creative process. Make sure to check the estimated timeline of when rewards will be delivered. Project creators will keep you updated on the progress toward completion and delivery of your rewards.
Backing a crowdfunding campaign is not the same as purchasing an item from a store. When you back a campaign you are supporting the creation of something new. Rewards are almost always delivered, but are not guaranteed.
When will I be charged for my pledge?
Your payment method will not be charged right away. You will be charged for the amount of your pledge when the campaign ends and the project reaches its funding goal. You will not be charged if the campaign does not reach its funding goal.
What happens after the campaign is over?
The Creator will send out a survey that will ask you for more information about your pledge, your shipping information, additional items you may want to add to your pledge, and collect shipping fees if applicable.
The survey will be sent to the email address we have on file with your pledge.
Any additional payment will be charged when you complete your survey and confirm your order.

What is the Fey Friends Campaign?
Fey Friends is an enamel pin and plushie crowdfunding campaign! With your support, we are creating cute creatures from the land of Elsewhyr. Each pin is hand drawn and hand enameled, and the plushies are versions of these pins brought to life!
How do I get my free mini-pin?
Great Question! We've partnered with the AMAZING Dungeon Artist for Pintopia, and as a reward for supporting both our campaigns, you'll receive a FREE pin from EACH campaign! Make sure to back us, and then head on over to the Monstrous Menagerie page to pledge your support! Your mini-pins will be added automatically after the campaign ends, in the pledge manager.
How do I know you'll complete this project and I'll get my pins?

We also have an established digital presence at www.bookwyrmgames.com and we're at most of the Fancon and Comic Con conventions that happen in Western North America, so we're not going anywhere :) The designs are complete and ready to go, we just need your help to get these pins made!
How do I qualify for my free pin?
If you back my campaign and Monstrous Menagerie: Iconic Beasts from TTRPG History campaign before both campaigns end, then you will qualify for our special cross collab incentive. Pay Over Time Option!
We wanted to offer everyone the opportunity to to get everything they wanted from our campaign. We realize that times are difficult but we believe that everyone should have the chance to have beautiful and fun things in their lives, so we wanted to make our campaign a little bit more accessible. For this reason we have opened up a Pay Over Time option to allow you to split your payment into multiple installments! Backers who select pay over time will pay their balance in four monthly payments, beginning after the campaign ends. No additional fees or interest will be applied to your order. Subsequent payments will be charged monthly Some things to note - 1. Rewards will not qualify for shipment until you have paid in full. 2. Any partial payments made are not eligible for a refund. 3. You will not be able to access the pledge manager survey until after you have paid in full. 4. Pay over time is only available for pledges $150 and above.
Let's talk about shipping?
Shipping is weird at the moment, and that moment has stretched into three or more years if we're being honest. We think we've got a pretty good handle on what it costs to ship things though through our main business, so we feel fairly confident in our projections. Shipping will be charged after the campaign ends, in order to get the most accurate numbers. We expect it's likely that the cost will go down from what's been suggested here, but we're being cautious!
