Hello Witchy Friends!

We've sent out the last of the packages that have cleared surveys and shipping charges, so everyone should see their rewards headed to them now! 

You should have received an email with your tracking information so you can keep an eye on things as they move through the world on our messenger's brooms. I think most everyone has likely started to see their pins and such arriving, but if they haven't arrived yet please keep an eye!

In the meantime, please check out our latest Backerkit, which we're super excited about! It's our very first TTRPG module in our brand new custom system! 

Familiar tales is a super simple but really fun RPG about small heroes having BIG adventures! Our guiding light for this RPG was 5 minutes of character creation, 10 minutes of prep, and hours of storytelling. We just know that you'll love creating your character, whether it's a brave fox, a cunning mouse, a strong Meowmoth, or a magical Glimmergoat.

Hello witchy folks :D

Pretty short update this time, but that's because it's nothing but good news! Fulfilment has begun, with the first 114 pledges labelled and packed as of today. They'll be headed to our freight forwarder tomorrow afternoon, and will be on their way to you right away. You should be able to check in your BackerKit account to find your tracking number so you can watch your reward's progress as it moves across the world to you :)

We've also just finished our latest campaign for Fey Friends, and we're officially going to be making plushies! The pre-order store will be up in a couple of weeks, and we'll create an update for that when it is.

Last up is the next campaign on the horizon, and it's one that we're incredibly excited about - Familiar Tales, a TTRPG about small creatures having big adventures! This is our own creation, along with the system that it runs in, Quill. This game is inspired by media like Redwall, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Wind in the Willows, Charlottes Web, and other similar books and films. The game is simple to get into, with a core concept of 5 minutes of character creation, 10 minutes of prep, and hours of play!

We'd love for you to check it out if that sounds interesting at all! We think there's something there for every roleplayer, and the system we are including is so easy to pick up you'll be playing as soon as the book hits the table. Please check it out HERE

Hello Witchy Friends! 

We come to you with an update containing news both good, and less than good (but still probably ok?) Without any ado at all, let's dive in.

We're finished with the Froggo Familiars! So, so much painting. We thought you might like a preview of your little friends (and their tiny butts!)

We hope that you like them, we think they're adorable. They'll be heading off very shortly to join your coven and we've mostly housetrained them, so you know, good luck!

Shipping across the Canada US border has never been super duper simple, but this week it got a lot harder. There's a lot of complicated stuff happening, but just boiling it down to it's most salient, there were a bunch of agreements and trade rules that existed to make shipping small things, or small dollar value of things, across the border pretty seamless. Someone came in and knocked over that carefully constructed Jenga tower of trade a couple of weeks back, and in doing so erased, overnight, all the ways we get things across the border. Now everything need to be stickered with country of origin no matter what the dollar value, everything goes through customs, and everything is subject to tariffs, customs fees, and taxes no matter what it is.

In addition, we're likely going to have to eat those fees in shipping, which honestly sucks. We won't be asking anyone for any extra money for this shipment, because there was no way for anybody to know, and we don't think you folks should be penalized for supporting us.

Obviously this has made things incredibly challenging. Our normal freight forwarder and broker has actually shut down this week in order to try and sort it out -

We are hoping they do manage to get reopened next week, because we've already started packaging everyone's rewards for fulfilment x( We'd really like to get them to you all as quickly as possible. As soon as things open back up again they'll be on their way, until then unfortunately we're stuck with the upending of decades of trade agreements and the fallout from that. One way or another we'll keep you updated, and one way or another we'll get things to you all.

Hey folks!

We have a quick update on shipping (with good news, and a small challenge to overcome!) and an update on our latest campaign, in which we're offering pins and PLUSHIES!

Good news first! We're expecting to begin shipping out everyone's rewards NEXT WEEK! We're really excited to be getting your pins, stickers, and dice out to you now that everything is completed. When things start arriving please let us know how much you love your witchy items :D

We have had one small issue unfortunately - the Whimsycraft Witch pin was made incorrectly, with the hat and other details not ending up black. We're going to need to start again on that one, but we expect it should be done by mid-February. Any pledges NOT containing one of these pins is going to be starting to ship out next week. Any pledges which DO contain one of these pins will be shipping out the instant they arrive :)
 

In very exciting news, our next pin and plushie campaign has launched, and FUNDED! We're working on unlocking plushie options now, as well as some adorable Flumphs :D (though if you've backed us before, you know we can't resist unlocking everything anyway xD)! Please check out the campaign, if you have a moment; we'd really appreciate your support to get these adorable little floofs out into the world!

2024 was a LOT for many of us, so we greatly appreciate you taking this creative journey by our side <3 We're so happy to be heading into 2025, and to help kick off the year in a happy and colourful way by sending all your Witchy Pins early in the year! For the moment, read on for the update, some images of pins as they near completion, and an EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW of our brand new plushies :D!

Good news on this front! Pin creation is almost finished, so we'll be heading into shipment sooner rather than later! We're still likely a month or so away from that, but fulfilment is on the horizon, and your rewards will be on their way soon <3 Here is a sneak peek of some of our favourites, including one of our amazing Custom Pin rewards Q!

We think they're turning out nicely, and hope you do too! In a later update we'll show the amazing glow-in-the-dark effects off, they're pretty striking.

Unfortunately our sticker manufacturer ended up not being as reliable as we'd have liked, so we've found another. The new manufacturer is already working on the stickers (the good news!) :) The less great news is that they're almost 2.5x more expensive. The proofs look great though, so we think it'll be worth it. We will absolutely be eating this cost ourselves, so no increase or ask or anything here! On to MUCH more exciting things....

Along with some other incredible artists, we'll be participating in Pintopia 3 coming up on January 22! We will, of course, be creating some colourful and fun pins, but for the first time ever we'll also be creating some adorably cuddly plushies!!! As a thank you for supporting us in the Witch's Kitchen project, you will all be the first to see stage 1 of plushie creation, here in this update :D

The embroidery and details aren't complete, please keep in mind this is stage 1 of getting the sample created, but we were so excited we just had to show you. We'd like to introduce the beginning of the MeowMoth plushie!

As you can see, our cuddly MeowMoth has wide wings (which are going to be multicoloured, once embroidery is done), six snuggly legs, and a neck ruff that's perfect for petting. We'll provide more images once the eyes and other details are complete, but we're thrilled with how it's coming so far :D

Plushies are a bit different, and a lot more expensive to create, when compared to pins so our goal for this one is a little ambitious and we definitely need your help to ensure that we can unlock as many plush options as possible! If you want to help us get the strongest start we can, and want to make sure that you get to cuddle one of the Fey cuties we're creating, you can actually PRE-BACK this campaign!

That's right! Even before the campaign officially launches you can join us in the Fey land of Elsewhyr by pledging right now.
