That's right! Audrey Stollings is a hot new talent in the Sword & Sorcery scene; the 'zine will debut her fantastic new character - LATHRA...a kind of ageless Lady Bathory wandering & scheming through the Weird of her world's long history.
There will be a Lathra short story in one of our 2026 issues of the magazine. But honestly I loved the character so much I had to figure a way to get a Lathra tale in your hands as soon as possible - thus this 17,000 word paper & staples classic style 'zine that, if unlocked, all backers will get for free with their novellas when we ship in April 2026.
Lathra leans into the Acid Gothic flavor of Sword & Sorcery, cranking up the Weird & Horror sides of the genre. Cranking up the Weird? The Horror? We knew just the artist to call upon - Daniel Vega.
