First: Thank you!
Fulfillment Timeline
Here's the important dates for the next month:
- Tuesday, June 30th: Surveys go out, you can add any additional add-ons and input shipping information.
- Monday, July 20th: We lock the initial wave of orders.
- Wednesday, July 22nd: We charge shipping and lock your address in.
- Friday, July 24th: We pack your pledges and ship your books!
If you don't fill out your survey right away, not to worry— We'll still make sure you get your pledge. It'll just have to wait until after we return from Gen Con the first weekend in August. We'll also check BackerKit periodically to ship books out to stragglers. If you fill out your survey after we ship out the first round and you don't receive your pledge within a couple weeks (you should receive a shipping notice from PirateShip, our shipping partner), just shoot us an email at [email protected] to let us know and we'll get your order sorted out.
If you're planning to move during fulfillment and you're worried your book might not make it in time, you can email us at the address above and we'll hold your order until you're situated in your new place and then ship it out to you.
That's All, Folks!
Cheers,
- Jon

Dawn of the Final Day
Thanks again for your support, and we'll see y'all after the campaign!
Week One Recap
Other Campaigns we Love
Soot and Charms
Soot and Charms is a roleplaying game set in a modern-fantasy Boston where the fae bargained with Edison to harvest energy from mortal storms. It's a really slick steampunk setting that I'm super excited to play around in. Also, Emily Entner, our usual graphic designer and one half of Graftbound Press is behind the visual design, in collaboration with some pretty cool comic artists!
Gallerie
We're far from the only folks running a queer TTRPG campaign during Pride! Gallerie, by Weapons Grade Funk, features art by a friend of ours (Gawki) and, like LGBT, is all about telling queer stories. Go check them out!
Goblin Pride
Listen, Bri and I love goblins, and Publishing Goblin is no exception to this rule. They've got some extremely punk Pride pins funding for a couple more weeks y'all might like!
A Road that Knows your Name
This game has such a tight pitch that I'll keep mine equally brief: A Road that Knows your Name is a one-shot storytelling game that uses a deck of cards and legos (or something else to build with) about a group of people travelling aboard a vessel you construct. They had me at lego-powered TTRPG, to be perfectly honest.
That's it for today! Thanks again to everyone who's been excited by our project and telling queer stories! Bri and I are psyched to be celebrating Pride with y'all, and we're excited to see where the rest of the campaign takes us this month. I'll check in again here when we tip over our first stretch goal (4.5k for 4 Weapon Enamel Pins!). Until then:
Cheers, and Happy Pride to y'all!
- Jon and Bri
Fully Funded
If we cruise over the 4.5k mark before the end of the campaign, we'll be able to create enamel pin designs of the titular four weapons for y'all to order!
Adventure Prompt - The League of Evil Exes
- A high-level theme, like "One of your friends started dating someone with a league of evil exes"
- A short description of that prompts expected contents
- The genre or mashup for that adventure prompt
- A short list of hazards that might fit well with that prompt
- 6 Scene objective recommendations like "Best the Skate Wizard"
- A short description of each scene's expected contents
The League of Evil Exes
I selected encounters with evil exes from the film based on personal favorite scenes, but as I mentioned in our previous update, these adventure prompts are easily modified to suit your taste and your table—they're a jumping off point.
That's all, Folks!
Cheers, and the happiest possible Pride to y'all!

Poll Results
Alright, let's get into the adventure prompts. I'll start by talking about the Haunted Party Venue adventure prompt today, and chat a little about how we designed our adventure prompts!
Each adventure prompt includes:
- A high-level theme, like "Exorcise your Haunted Party Venue"
- A short description of that prompts expected contents
- The genre or mashup for that adventure prompt
- A short list of hazards that might fit well with that prompt
- 6 Scene objective recommendations like "Commune with the Spirits"
- A short description of each scene's expected contents
Here's what the Haunted Party Venue adventure looks like:
Easy to Run, Easy to Mod
At its heart, the Haunted House adventure is all about a paranormal surprise waiting for you at the venue you rented to hang out with friends. What kind of ghosts are haunting it in your game? What do they want? Will you have to fight them to make room for your friends' antics, or do they need help from you and your friends to find peace?
It's ultimately up to you and the folks at your table to decide, and scene Objectives (the measure of your progress towards short-term goals in each chapter of the story) can be easily modified to better represent the story unfolding at your table.
That's all, Folks!
Cheers, and the happiest possible Pride to y'all!
- Jon and Bri
First of all: thanks for kicking June off in style with us! We're really excited to be publishing a second edition of Longsword, Glock, Bat, Taser, and I'm pumped to share some of the exciting new stuff we've got planned. To that end, we're running a poll right now to see which adventure prompt y'all are most excited about! We'll post a little update about the poll winner and talk about the process of writing it.
Media Coverage
Stillfleet Studio: We had the please of chatting with Wythe and Chris last night on their podcast Why We Roll! It was a blast chatting with them about how we came to tabletop gaming, what Bri and I's process for designing games is like, some of the stuff you can look forward to in LGBT, and how we bring important themes into even our most whimsical titles. You can catch the VoD right now on Twitch or on their website!
That's All, Folks!
Thanks again for joining us on launch day!

In LGBT, you have 4 stats: Longsword, Glock, Bat, and Taser. Each corresponds to character traits loosely based on tropes associated with a queer identity. What's your highest stat? Longsword represents your versatility, flexibility, and loyalty. Roll Longsword to find a creative solution, be there when someone needs it, or drop everything for a friend. Glock represents your charisma, empathy, and flair for the dramatic. Roll Glock to bring panache or killer style to a scene, shoot your shot, or unload a full mag of out-of-pocket quips, genuinely helpful advice, or withering retorts on behalf of your friends. Bat represents your insight, candor, and might. Roll Bat to uncover the truth, cut to the chase, find a blunt solution to a problem, or overcome indecision. Taser represents your creativity, wits, and conviction. Roll Taser to come up with a plan or adapt on the fly, use your dazzling intellect to solve a problem, or a write a manifesto, blog post, or carefully-worded takedown.
