Welcome to Cats Among the Cosmos, a collection of large, high-detail enamel pins inspired by celestial phenomena and the quiet power of feline forms.
Every design is hand-illustrated. The pins are intentionally larger than standard, allowing for more intricate detailing to shine through. There is no AI art involved at any stage of this project. Each piece is drawn with manufacturing in mind, balancing detail and clarity so the final pins retain their depth, polish, and visual impact.

These enamel pins are exceptionally premium and BIG, ranging from 3–4 inches, and packed with special effects that shimmer, shine, and even glow—just like the stars they’re inspired by. Each design unlock is spaced $2,000 apart to account for the high cost of creating pins at this scale and quality. The prices may feel a little cosmic at first glance, but every choice here is intentional—I’m aiming for truly stellar craftsmanship, not shortcuts. There is a chance I will be adding and adjusting the effects as the campaign nears its end, as I want to have a stellar and unique feel for each pin.

For Cats Among the Cosmos, the freebie is a glow-in-the-dark sticker featuring Merlin, my cat, seated and deliberately presenting his celestial capture to the viewer—a small green space traveler. The design serves as a companion piece to the enamel pin collection, blending quiet humor with a cosmic theme.
Hi, I’m Bunni Daniel! I’ve been an illustrator for years, drifting through the creative cosmos and bringing all kinds of strange and wonderful creatures to life.
My first leap into enamel pins was Mimics Among Us during the 2024 Pintopia campaign—a collection celebrating everyone’s favorite treasure-turned-nightmare, the mimic! My second pin campaign went absolutely interstellar—Infinite and Infernal soared to truly unimaginable heights and is shipping as we speak. My third campaign, Furight-Night Felines, is currently in production.
While enamel pins pulled me into orbit, I’m no stranger to crowdfunding. My book, Unnatural Selection: The Untamed and The Underworld, was a wild success, and since then I’ve been deep-space building Druskara—a full campaign setting for Shadowdark RPG that brings a dark, living world to life.
At heart, I’m a total nerd, a devoted cat enthusiast, a lover of all things space, and I have an undeniable soft spot for weird, eyebally things… especially when they sparkle.
Backerkit works much like Kickstarter where it is an all-or-nothing crowd funding. This means you won't be charged for your pledge until the campaign ends. So you can pledge now and pay later, and have the freedom to change your mind by switching pledge levels, adding more add-ons and even cancelling your pledge prior to the end of the campaign.
Surveys: Once the campaign ends you will be sent a survey within several weeks. In the survey, you will be asked to choose your designs, pay shipping fees, and add your shipping address. This survey is designed to help the campaign creators to fulfill your order and ensure that you receive the items you pledged for. Add-ons added in the survey, will be charged upon survey completion.
Shipping will be charged separately - AFTER THE CAMPAIGN. You will receive a survey from Backerkit approximately 2-6 weeks after the campaign, where you will select your pin designs, and have a second opportunity to pick up more pins and add other add-ons to your order. There will be Mimic Among Us pins available from my previous campaign, as well as stickers and more!
Shipping will be assessed and charged approximately 18 weeks after the campaign ends, once the pins have arrived and been sorted, and shipping rates have been assessed. These pins will be premium, large and heavy. These estimates are subject to change!

International Shipping: $12 - $30+
International backers are responsible for any VAT or other fees Note that these are estimates based on previous campaigns and may raise or lower depending on country, time of year and many other factors. I will do my very best to be as accurate as possible so that there are not surprises.
At this time, I am unable to ship to countries within the European Union due to ongoing VAT and customs regulations that make fulfillment difficult for small creators. I truly appreciate your understanding and support, and hope to make EU shipping available in future campaigns once a more reliable solution is in place.
Address Updates: Please be sure that the address you provide is correct and up to date. You will be responsible for any re-shipping fees if they are required and will be notified in an update prior to locking in addresses. This will ensure you have time to make any changes up until the lock date. If your package is returned to me due to insufficient funds, I will reach out personally to fix any issues. If I do not hear back from the backer within 48 hours, the order will be forfeited without a refund. If I do hear back, you will be responsible for any re-shipping fees that may be required.
