Funded!
Life Paths is funded! Thank you to everyone who has pledged so far, soon enough the Softcover edition will be a physical product you can use at your tables! I'm already at wo...
Grab the preview packet, roll up a character, and share it in the comments! Here's a few characters I generated during development:
An indentured secretary who became a polymath naturalist wizard with skills in animal handling, medicine, and survival. He found a coded treasure map and got accosted by a Wyvern while searching for it. Unfortunately he had a terrible falling out with a romantic partner who became his rival and took his only child away with her.
A dwarf raised by a single witch into an adopted family of orphans. When the locals blamed the witch for misfortune and came with torches, she cried out to her mother's patron and was granted misty step as a means of escape. Seperated from her family, she took to crime to survive and ended up killing someone on a job and getting captured. After using the cover of a riot to escape, she studied under a religious sage before uncovering a heinous secret about the head of their faith, so now she's being hunted by an inquisitor. Ended up with two Magic Initiate feats, one Wizard and one Cleric, as a (fey?) warlock she crosses the barriers between multiple spheres of magic.
Backerkit has cleared the funds and surveys are now going out to all backers, check your emails to respond with your Drivethrurpg email and your desired Backer credit name. There's also an add-on option in case you'd like to upgrade your pledge or buy additional print-on-demand codes for the softcover.
The pdf is just about complete! The stretch goal content is written, the final edit pass is done, the table of contents is implemented, and I've added a bunch of cross-reference links to help navigate around the pdf. With the funding goal exceeded I also bought some more high quality stock art to fill out the pages that were lacking in decoration.
Backerkit will complete its collection of payments by June 25th, so make sure your cards aren't declined by then, and expect a Backerkit Survey shortly thereafter to collect your DrivethruRPG emails and preferred Backer Credits. Prospective final pdf release is around the start of July.
The Imperial Exams are not for the faint of heart. If you don't pass the tests, you can always cheat your way to a degree...

Fantasy Life Paths is on its way thanks to everyone who backed the project! The logistics of Backerkit collecting payments etc can take up to two weeks but the PDF release is fast approaching! Here's a preview of the new Civic vocation added by the stretch goal:
