Hello! My name is Scotia, and I'm a transgender furry artist.
A decade ago, I started toying with the idea of making art beyond high school photography and art history. I was already deep in the fandom, so that naturally took the form of average anthropomorphic figures with line art, color, etc. But I didn't find joy in it. Not for lack of practice or even noticeable improvement... I wasn't passionate about making it.
That's when I returned to the subject that had filled the empty space on discarded assignments and scratch paper. Shapes, patterns, negative space... I was in love with abstract art. In the ten years that have followed, I've pursued this passion and made many cringe-worthy things that should never see the light of day. This project, however, is something I'm proud of.
These bandanas are a marriage of the structured, beautiful abstractions I love and the animals that fascinate me every day. They are not your average furry prints, but they are uniquely me.
You can get all four bandanas in the "Motley" reward tier, or your favorite in the individual tiers. If you'd like multiples of any (or only two/three of the four), there are add-ons for each individual design.
And there are stretch goals! If the project gets funded, I'm offering eight SECRET animal designs, one for every $1000 we hit beyond the goal. I'll reveal these designs once each previous goal is met, but you can see the animals for each tier below. If any of these are reached, they will be available as add-ons to your tier!
