Hi! Giving you all a quick update to say we received the pins and are waiting on the backing cards to arrive. The Peach Fuzz and Strawberry Pins turned out great -- even better than I was expecting! I can't wait for you to see, wear, and display the pins. Thank you for believing in the project.

Dropping in to give you all an update: We received notification that we have a tracking number for FedEx and a label has been created for the shipment of Peach Fuzz pins. The Strawberry pins are in production, so if you pledged to this campaign and the collaboration campaign -- you will receive the Strawberry pin as well.

As supporters of this project, I wanted to let you all know I have another pin project live on Kickstarter right now for Periodical and Annual Cicada Enamel Pins (ends this Friday, July 12, 2024 11:59 PM EDT).

Two backers will receive a rare blue-eyed cicada pin in random drawing at end of campaign during the packing phase. You can guarantee a blue-eyed cicada pin by including it as an add-on to your pledge, but two fortunate people will get a surprise in the mail!

Hi! I wanted to get feedback about what backing attachment you all prefer. We originally had the backing fixture as a clear rubber clutch, but I'm putting out a small poll to see the general preferences.

Let me know if you have additional comments about the backing. I can see pros and differences (not really cons, just different aspects that are appealing for each) about each style, so I wanted to know your thoughts. Poll closes in one day -- so vote now. Thanks!

Thank you to all the backers who made today a success. I was educated tremendously from running this Pintopia event (and if I ever do it again I would implement what I have learned). I'm proud of the group for creating such wonderful small works of art. 

From what I have heard, BackerKit usually takes about two weeks to process payments and send the funds our way. Since the design is already complete, I will work on finalizing the order in two weeks. The pin production usually takes about six weeks or so -- a rough estimate on when you'd receive the pins would be late June or early July.  

Surveys will be sent closer to when we are ready to mail and I will update you on the process if anything newsworthy needs to be released. I can work on designing backing cards for the pins during this waiting period during production.
