Project Update: We Have a Dual Stretch Goal!
As we are about to crest $12,000 of support for this campaign, we'd thought we would finally give you some details on the stretch goal we have on offer.
Because this is a campaign consisting of two games, we're doing a single stretch goal that has something for each—a dual stretch goal, if you will.
So, if we reach the funding goal of $20,000 (a tall order, but we're hopeful), we'll add the following to the rewards for this campaign:
- For Witch Hunt 1649, we'll design and produce a neoprene playmat that will offer structure to the common game space of the game. It'll include spaces for placing the Asset, Black Mark, and Fate decks, as well as defining where to put the Asset Pool and the arrayed Story cards. We will add this to any reward level that includes a physical copy of Witch Hunt 1649.
- For Making History, we will fund the creation of a Twine adaptation for Making History. This will support the game being used online and in asynchronous play, which is something we like to support for all our games. We'll include this with any pledge level that includes a physical or digital version of Making History.
There you have it, the details on our dual stretch goal. This will be the only stretch goal we offer for the campaign, and we'd love to be able to bring these to life for you. Keep sharing the campaign with folks you think would enjoy these games. We have a little over two weeks left to reach our new stretch goal.
Stay chronological, everyone!

Just wanted to leave a message and a thank you for the fact that you offer these games as digital rewards/PnP files as well. Especially the option to buy and support the games and print and craft them yourselves is especially helpful for international educators. I wouldn't have been able to afford a physical version of this.
Will the curriculum guide contain ways to replace some of the more "mature" cards so that Making History could be played with a High School Classroom? I absolutely love the way this introduces concepts like history being a narrative of selected and limited facts, but I am worried that cards for instance, referencing "bongs" prevent classroom usage precollege.
Project Update: We Did It!
Where do we go from here? Well, internally, we've been discussing a couple of interesting stretch goals for this campaign for a while now, but haven't yet pulled the trigger on them (you funded too soon!). We still need a little more time to figure out their potential effect on shipping, and, of course, there's the tariff question looming over it all as well. We should have that locked down by early next week, so hopefully then we'll get the first stretch goal announced.
In the meantime, keep sharing the campaign with anyone you think might want to jump on board. And if you are following but not backing yet or just a fan of ours from a previous campaign, we'd love to have you join this crew as well.
Stay historical, everybody!
