Rules/Lore Videos & An Actual Play
Today, there's a video heavy update! Another episode of Scryglass Studio's Time Without Tide actual play is available now on YouTube! Check it out to see some in-person gameplay, as well as a sneak preview of one of the scenarios from Into the Fog.
We’re also releasing some short-form Time Without Tide videos. These were requested during one of our polls during the lead-up to the launch. There’s a few of them, which we’ll be releasing across the coming days. Here is a special preview of one, which covers making tests, the basic roll resolution mechanic underpinning the game.

We’re already almost halfway to unlocking our next stretch goal, so if you haven’t already, remember to back the campaign and vote in our poll for what you’d like to see next. A huge thanks to everybody who continues to share news about Time Without Tide. Remember to join the Chaosium Discord and comment here on Backerkit with any questions, thoughts, or stories you have.

We Pass $200,000! New Map & Vote on the Next Stretch Goal
We've just smashed our next stretch goal! Thank you so much for spreading the word and letting people know about Time Without Tide. We've already talked about what the expanded backgrounds mean for everybody (keep your votes coming!) so let's talk about what's next!

At $210,000 we'll be releasing an extremely comprehensive hex crawl map as a digital download for all backers. Forget Marc Moureau's beautiful World of Fog cartography for a second. This map is for players who want to walk every inch of the wilderness beyond the walls. If you're the kind of player who craves a hex crawl, you're in luck. This map will serve you for session after session of gameplay.

What about after that? The next stretch goal is completely hidden by the fog. Why? Because we want you to decide what it is. We've put together a suite of exciting options; things we want to see added to Time Without Tide and we think you will too. If you've backed the game, vote for your favorite. We’ll make the winner the next stretch goal!

As of today, there is just over a week left in our Backerkit campaign! 😱 Help us smash some more stretch goals. Back the project if you haven’t already and let the mirthful and miserable people in your life know about Time Without Tide.

Why Call of Cthulhu Players Should Try Time Without Tide
Have you seen Chaosium's latest blog post? Call of Cthulhu fans, we've got 1D6 reasons you might love playing Time Without Tide. Check them out and roll for yourself. Remember to come back and share your thoughts. What's your favorite Call of Cthulhu feature to encounter in other TTRPGs? Do you think there's any important reasons we missed? Comment to let us know.

We're also very pleased to show off some more photos of the TWT miniatures out in the wild. Like in our previous update, these photos were taken at Convergence. To all the skilled painters out there, which characters are you most excited to get your hands on first? Bonus points to whoever is planning the most unusual color scheme.

At time of posting, we are only a hair's breadth away from hitting our $200,000 funding milestone! Stay tuned, because in addition to our next stretch goal reveal, we have some more TWT video content that should be going live right around the same time. Get excited and remember to tell your friends about Time Without Tide.

Miniatures Spotted at Convergence NZ & Adaptation Poll
Last weekend, the Waikato Role-Playing Guild held Convergence, a TTRPG focused event in Kirikiriroa, Hamilton. There were plenty of amazing games on offer including Time Without Tide! A special thanks to Olivia for running a group of players through the Quick Start adventure Lonely Phareflaw. Check out this photo from the event which features some prints from the Time Without Tide miniatures pack.
A convention table for Time Without Tide.

If you want to get involved running Time Without Tide at events like Convergence, then remember to check out the Cult of Chaos. It’s a great way to get involved with a community of fans, players, and GMs for Chaosium Games.

There was a wonderful response to our last Background poll. Given the enthusiasm, here’s another one! This time, we’re showing off some of the adaptations which Delvers can manifest when they spend too long in the fog.

The Unknown warps people in all kinds of strange ways. It gives you the chance to play strange and bizarre characters (who are right at home in a strange and bizarre world). If you had to pick between one of the three following adaptations, which would you select for your character?

At time of posting, we are closing in on 1.5k backers! We are so excited that so many of you have decided to Delve with us headfirst into an exciting new game that we are all so very proud of.

If you haven’t backed Time Without Tide yet, then now’s the perfect time. The World of Fog awaits!

Time Without Tide in the Cult of Chaos
Have you joined the Cult of Chaos? Chaosium’s official volunteer Game Master program is a great way to get involved with players and fans of Chaosium games. It features content from Call of Cthulhu, RuneQuest, Pendragon, Age of Vikings, and now Time Without Tide too!

We’re already beginning to hear fantastic stories about people’s experience running the Quickstart for their friends. If you’ve given it a try, please remember to share your experience with us. Did your Delvers make it to the end? Did the fog get to them first? If you haven’t run the Quickstart yet but are planning too, then let us know what part of the game you’re most excited to try out!

If you'd like learn more about Lonely Phareflaw, it's in the Time Without Tide: Quickstart, which you can download right now, for free.

In other news, we’re just over 10k away from our next stretch goal. Remember to share the campaign with your friends to help us hit those milestones. For now, here's a a teaser image showing off one of Time Without Tide's adaptations. As a challenge, try and guess the name of this adaptation. Thanks everyone.

New Poll, New Stretch Goal, New Backgrounds Revealed
Our last player background poll ended close to a dead heat. The Sentinel pulled ahead with 37% of the votes, but The Explorer (31%) and The Romantic (32%) were only just behind!

Fortunately, we’re now closing in on our $200,000 stretch goal. As we reveal more of the available player backgrounds, we invite you to share your thoughts in a brand new poll!

How high is your MIND + SKULDUGGERY score? Keen-eyed readers are sure to have seen some of our Delver background art splashed across this page. Can you spot a piece? If you can, try to guess that background’s name.

Our last unlocked stretch goal was to create the Roll 20 Quick Start module as a free version available to everybody. We’re excited to show you what we’ve got in store next!

Share the campaign with your friends to help spread the word and reach these goals together!
