Welp, the votes are tallied, and we dodged a bullet by not having to include the word "pookie" in the game.
Here is the final exclusive card, half of which you voted on.
This card will be printed ONE time and included with one of the games. I still don't know what mewing means and I'm afraid to look it up.
There will also be ANOTHER exclusive card, entirely written by backers who backed at the highest tiers. If you backed at a pledge level that allowed you to submit a word, look for a message soon so we can get those loaded into the game. Start brainstorming a few choices!

Please Check If Your Payment Failed

As the campaign is now over, your credit card should have been charged by now. We've received the funds from BackerKit and are moving on to finalizing the content for the games.
However, there are some charges that failed. This is usually due to an expired or invalid credit card. Please double check that you didn't get any kind of messages from BackerKit regarding your failed payment. Not only does this pass less funds onto us to make the game, but you will not be counted as a backer if the charge did not go through and we want you to have these games! Luckily this only applies to a handful of people, but please look for an email from BackerKit!

Missed The Campaign? Want To Add To Your Pledge?

I get it. Life happens. Soon we'll be opening up the pre-order store where late pledges can still jump into the campaign, minus some of the special exclusive stuff. This takes a while to set up, so stay tuned and look for an announcement soon as to how you can still jump in late.
When the final surveys go out later this year, current backers will be able to finalize their pledge and add extra items they may have forgotten to add during the campaign. Maybe we'll add some surprises there too. We realize we didn't quite hit the final post-funding goal, but we may be able to still unlock it yet...

Here's everything we expect to get done in the next few weeks:
Setting Up Preorders/Late Pledge
Paying manufacturer deposit
Finalizing art files (including the backer submitted words)
Sending over print and plays
Anyway, these updates will likely be less frequent and feature more updates at once to reduce the amount of emails you get. We also post updates on on social media pages (@cheerupgames on Facebook, Insta, or Threads) if you prefer to see updates in your feeds.
Either way, stay on the train and we'll continue to be transparent about the whole process!

The campaign still has almost a full day left, so we'll catch a few more stragglers as we come to the end (send those final reminders people!)
After that, we move into production mode: ✅ surveys ✅ finalizing files and custom content ✅ polishing the games once more ✅ manufacturing ✅ mailbox
We don't expect this to take nearly as long as a typical crowdfunding campaign, as the games are very close to finished already.

A bunch of the premium pledge levels sold out (!!), but we’ve opened ONE additional personalized mint tin slot.
Here’s why:
Both the $69 “You Did This” tier AND the $89 personalized tin tier include a “suggest-a-word” reward and 7 backers have pledged for these tiers. Each card in the game has 8 words total, and it doesn't really matter which pledge level the word comes from. So now, once someone grabs EITHER reward…
👉 BOTH tiers lock permanently.
So if you missed the personalized tin the first time around — this is your shot. You can upgrade your pledge by managing your pledge at the top of the campaign page.
