Here is a proof for the Saturn pin. What is wrong with this? Do you see it?
Yeah. The rings are missing.
So this is what it looks like corrected. Every pin has every color selected via Pantone Coated colors. From videos I have seen with pins, it looks like a person actually has an ink injector and fills every channel of every pin with the correct color. Nuts. These things should cost $50 each for that kind of tedious handwork.
We have sent a notice that your cards will be charged in 48 hours. So if you wish to revise your rewards, you can do so by then, and your order will be locked in.
After a long delay from the Chinese New Year, it took a bit to get proofs.
However, the real delay is going to be shipping. Thanks to several brilliant decisions by our president, shipping from there to here has increased 4x. This thanks to tariffs, retaliative fees, and on top of all that — fuel in the region has exploded in cost.
Now the only option that allows us to match the budget that was planned for is the slow boat one. This means once all the proofs are approved — it will take at least a month for them to arrive. Contrast to what used to be 5 days transit.
Sorry for the blackout on info. We will post some of the pdf proofs to show how they plan to arrange the plating.
All pins and stretch goals AND my daughter’s Planet X are officially going into production. I’ll be posting updates as we get manufacturing proofs and move toward fulfillment.
We have been tracking our climb under the Cat-Tastic banner and its been a ride. There are 14 projects and after the first 24 hours we were at #11. Then about a week later we were chasing the #8 spot and that took about a week to do. But this past week we have been able to move past four other projects to #4 and the #3 spot is only 6 backers away.
This makes us fell like maybe we are picking up new followers thanks to Pintopia '26 as our usual places for outreach were mostly used up after the first three days.
Help us reach #2!
#1 is like 120 away, so… that is not happening. ;)
Btw, if you join two other Cat-Tastic banners with ours, you get that free Comet Cat pin. Competition is healthy, but I still want to help our fellow creatives.
OUTER PLANETS SET
We also added a Outer Planets set for those of you who prefer the more exotic places in our Solar System. Included Jupiter, Saturn and the newly designed Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto/Eris cat pins.
ALL EIGHT+ CATS ARE COMPLETE
Mercury. Venus. Earth. Mars. Jupiter. Saturn. Uranus. Neptune AND Pluto/Eris. Fully unlocked. Fully designed to look like cats and ready to be produced. This is the only time they will be licking each other, cozy in a snuggle-up at campaign pricing.
☄️🐈 THE COMET CAT MINI PIN
Backers of this and any two other Pintopia '26 Cat-Tastic campaigns will receive yet another FREE bonus pin. Yup. This tier disappears when the campaign ends too.
Glad to have them all done days before the campaign ends! This is the last pin to be designed.
To some, Pluto is still a planet… but then what about Eris? We couldn’t leave Pluto out of the run and I would never include Pluto in a series without giving Eris equal measure. It is just as large, may have more than one moon… it is just more recently discovered.
So we decided to put them together on one pin to represent the Kuiper Belt and dwarf planets everywhere!
