The patches and pins themselves are long-lasting. People tend to hold on to such things and don’t throw them away. Our shipping supplies come from Eco-Enclose. They are 100% recycled and reusable with a double closure system. So you can use the envelope again to ship something else if you so choose.

We partner with a few nonprofits such as The Planetary Society and the SETI Institute. While this project isn’t officially affiliated with either (or any other organization), we work closely with our partners on design needs and share profits on products where their involvement or visibility helps drive strong sales.

For this campaign, I’ll be working with the same trusted overseas producer who has already produced the Voyager, Cassini, and Apollo patches shown in this campaign (those three designs use real photos). They’ve consistently delivered excellent quality, and I’m confident in their ability to maintain that same level of detail and finish for the mission patch series.

As many of you know, tariffs and trade policies continue to shift unpredictably, especially for goods manufactured overseas. While no new changes have affected pricing so far, it is always possible that at any moment the administration could up-end all the pricing on this (or anyone’s) campaign. SO far, it has all come to nothing on our end, but none of us can depend on stability or knowing what shoe may drop next. As with previous campaigns, the factory will first produce pre-production samples for photo approval before the full run begins, ensuring accuracy and quality on every design before mass production.

BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.

If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.

Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.

Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
