Project Update: Books Shipped! Also pdfs.

Hello.

I handed off the packages to my man at the Post Office today, so he'll be sending them out in batches over the next few days, so you should start receiving your copies of Strike Force Omega (and any other print books you ordered) anywhere from 'tomorrow' to 'about a week from now'.

I've also sent out all the Strike Force Omega pdf links just now as well, so keep an eye on your inbox for those.

If you bought other pdfs from the add-on store there's going to be a teensy delay while I work out how to get a list of people who've bought pdfs and what they bought out of Backerkit, but once that's taken care of actually sending out the pdfs should be easy-peasy, so I don't think you'll be waiting too long.

And with that we're more or less done here. If you like this game, I recommend you follow me here, or at potatocubed.itch.io, or on Bluesky, or sign up to my rarely-used mailing list, and that should make sure you find out what I get up to next. I've got... well, not big plans, but medium-sized plans for 2024, and you may like what I come up with.

Thanks for all your support,

Chris

Project Update: Quick Reminder

Hello!

If you are one of the nine people who haven't filled in your shipping address yet, please do! I want to get this wrapped up and shipped out ideally next week, definitely before Dragonmeet (the 2nd of December) and definitely before Christmas because I have way too much other stuff* going on then.

If you aren't one of those nine people, no need for you to do anything.

Cheers,

Chris

Project Update: Done!

Hi folks.

Thanks for giving me enough money to make funding the print run less of a hair-raising experience! (I'm still not used to sending thousands of pounds to people. Feels wild every time.)

The poll seems inclined to open a post-campaign store, so I've got one set up and there's all sorts of add-ons you'll be offered the chance to acquire there before you put in your shipping information.

That said, I'll be trying to push everything to its conclusion reasonably quickly. As soon as the pledges have cleared I'll get pdfs out to everyone, then I figure I'll give the add-ons/pre-orders a week or so, then you'll get a couple of days' warning before I charge cards, and another couple of days' warning before I lock addresses, and then I'll be off to the Post Office with armloads of books. I'll keep updating you as I hit these various milestones.

Thanks again for your support, and I'll be in touch.

Project Update: Funded!

Books for everyone, yeeeessssss.

I can't decide whether I want to run a post-campaign store where you can buy my other stuff, so I've opened a poll about it where you can vote. Basically the choice is 'Do you want the opportunity to pick up some of the other games I've made?' (none of which are anything like SFO, to be clear) versus 'Do you want your copy of SFO as quickly as possible?'

Anyway, thank you all very much for your funding, I'm going to get back to drawing nonsense on Forza Motorsport cars.

Cheers,

Chris

Project Update: 50% Funded!

Hey folks!

Four days in, 50% there, and no marketing plan other than what I can wring out of my insomnia-addled brain? Yeah, I think we're going to be alright.

If I can ask you for a favour, though, would you share the campaign on social media for me? Or if you know someone who might like it, slide them a link? Word of mouth is a powerful advertising method, and since I don't need that many backers to fund every individual counts.

Or you could not, and that's fine too. Like I say, I reckon we'll cross the finish line just fine -- I'd just rather cross it sooner, so I can relax.

Anyway. Got any good weekend plans? I'm going to be spamming everyone with my crowdfunding link playing board games with the extended family, which is shorthand for 'watching my brother effortlessly beat everyone, again'.
