Friends, it finally happened: the calendar and I are no longer on speaking terms. One Fun Extra should’ve gone live last week, another was scheduled for tomorrow… so in a rare moment of clarity (or chaos), I flipped the switch on both today before I forget again.

What’s open right now
- Cameos — Your walk-on moment in the world of Crystals, Carrots & Cosmic Clues. Think background cameo in a scene: a customer at Ana’s shop, a name on the community board, a brief neighborly hello. Delightfully cozy, canon-safe, and very fun to spot when you read later.
- Familiar Godparent (Name & Quirk) — You help name Ana’s jar-dwelling lantern-minnow familiar, and you propose one tiny quirk or action I’ll weave into a pivotal scene. You also get a Familiar Godparent acknowledgment credit.
Why the late/early unlock?
Short version: I blinked and time did cartwheels. Long version: I wanted to make sure no one misses out because of my… creative relationship with calendars. Unleashing both now keeps things simple, cozy, and available while excitement is high.
How the Cameo works
- Pick the cameo tier.
- After the campaign, I’ll send a survey to grab your preferred name and a couple of tiny details (pronunciation, general vibe).
- I place it where it fits naturally—Ana’s shop, a town noticeboard, or a passing line that’ll make you grin when you find it.
- You’ll get a heads-up when the scene is locked so you can watch for it in the final book.
Guardrails: Cameos stay family-friendly and on-tone. No ads, politics, or anything that would pull readers out of the cozy magic.
How the Familiar Godparent works
- Claim the tier.
- After the campaign, I’ll collect your name idea and one quirk/action (e.g., “glows when someone fibs,” “taps the glass like Morse code,” “steals carrot tops from Bunzilla”).
- I’ll polish for flow and world tone, and we’ll finalize together.
- Your credit appears in the acknowledgments as Familiar Godparent. Minnows do not do rebrands. 🐟✨
Guardrails: I reserve the right to tweak or veto anything offensive or out-of-tone so the vibe stays magical and welcoming.
