Noomi asked a question on the previous update about if she had missed the survey.  (Thank you Noomi!)

The answer was no.... 

You have not missed the surveys.  I kept delaying hoping that the proofs would come.  They were supposed to get here last week but the vendor still shows 'printing'.  (I have a friend who used the same vendor that said hers just showed up on her door step without the status updating.  I have reached out to see what's going on.)

Regardless of if they show-up, I will see if I can get the surveys approved and sent anyway.  (Backerkit has an approval process that I have not done before). 

Based on the proofs taking a month, I also have been looking at a delay in timelines. Without having the proofs, I'm not comfortable ordering, and I was also going to use how long BookVault took to print and ship the proof as part of the estimate on whole project timelines.  Right now it has been over a month since I ordered the proofs.  :(

So best guess on timing: 
Let say I get the proofs Monday Nov 18th and get the surveys approved and sent out by Monday as well.
Say it takes a week to get all the responses. (Nov 25th - Thanksgiving in the US)
And a month to get the books from the BookVault.
That brings us to the week of Christmas for the books to arrive at my home.
Unless you are inn  the US and nearby, Holiday shipping means I wouldn't get the books to you in time for the Holidays.  I have a shot at getting them by new years, but only if everything aligns. :(  Boo!

So best guess is January to get the physical books in your hands.

Just so you know, as soon as the book get here, I will get the books shipped asap.

I am very sorry for the delay in communication.  I just kept hoping the books would arrive which would kick off the whole process.
