Why Crowdfund?
A few curious souls have asked why I'm crowdfunding this book as opposed to say: finding a publisher or self publishing through Amazon.
The first reason is to help pay for my editor. I wanted high quality editing, and it's not free. Especially not when you've got a few hundred pages to pick apart, word by word.
The second reason is that I hoped a crowdfunding campaign would build more excitement than just shadow dropping the book on an online store. We've certainly attracted a few people, but I could do better on the marketing side.
I don't expect to make much money off this (if any), but that's ok. My dream is to simply make a book I can be proud of and to get it out into the world. I'm excited for you to finally read it.

Hardcover Edition
I was pleasantly surprised by how popular the author signed hardcover book has been, but due to logistics, this was only available to backers in the US.
To that end, I've decided to add a new pledge level for the hardcover book (unsigned) that can be shipped worldwide. Like all Founder's Edition books, this includes the exclusive bonus story!
Promoting without Spoiling
I've written a few books in my life, but none have made me as proud as Twelve Endings. I delved deep into my soul for this one and spent years fine tuning these stories. Some are raw and emotional, while others open mysterious doors into the human mind.
I knew that I enjoyed these stories, but would anyone else? Self doubt plagued me, but I pushed through and shared an early version with beta readers. Their feedback exceeded my wildest expectations, and I am now confident that I've got something special on my hands.
The toughest part of this campaign has been trying to promote my book without spoiling its secrets. There are many surprises inside that I KNOW will thrill my readers, but if I tell you, then it spoils the magic. Let me at least say this: the Founders Edition is extra special, and once you start reading, you'll be telling all your friends and family about it.
