Today is a minor update for some of the earliest production news! With the campaign fully funded we're able to see example products for many of the items unlocked in this campaign! We've attached some images and news below!

We've been working with our wonderful manufacturer who has sent us some examples of our 3D pins for us to examine in-person! What I can say is while they are heavier than the average pin of this size they are not as heavy as I thought they may be. Bigfoot (the lightest of the batch) weighs in at 1.41oz while the Slide Rock Bolter show him up with 2.01oz... for reference these are 3" pins and our previous 2.5" pins (which have about 70% of the area comparatively) clock in at just around 1oz on average... making them <40% ish heavier? - Anyways that's enough math for now here's some images!

 NOTE: While it is not the case for this Mothman, we had a suggestion from one of our backers (special thanks to Rhiannon!) to make the moon glow on this design. We asked our manufacturer if we could make that change for the rest of the Mothmen when we order them, and they agreed! Mothman will now have some glowing moonlight to guide his flights in the dark :>

NOTE: The Deer Demon pictured below had a teensy scratch on it's mold causing the divot that's barely visible in the fur above it's left shoulder - We reported this to the manufacturer who said that they would remake the mold to fix this defect. 

NOTE: The Miniwashitu pictured below had a scratch on it's mold causing the groove from it's left wrist across it's upper arm - The manufacturer noticed this before sending these examples and reported that they would remake the mold to fix this defect.

Alongside the pins, we've also received updates on the patches from our new patch manufacturer who has sent pictures of these absolute beauties our way!

Our previous patch manufacturer said that the level of detail we wanted, especially the text, would be impossible to do. Luckily we were able to find a new manufacturer to do these designs justice and create something that we're proud to share with you guys :>

Hello Backerkit,

Last night our manu sent us some photos of our 3D pins we featured from this campaign, and now we are more than excited to share those images with you!

We love how this bigfoot came out, the background and tree roots are my favorite parts. Plus they were able to really capture the ape-man facial features of America's most infamous cryptid

We're over the moon with how this pin turned out, the tunnels look amazing and the fish himself looks magnificent :>

Honestly this one might be my favorite - the details of the feathers came out breathtaking and the glow is beautifully done!

If not for the thunderbird the Miniwashitu would be another contender for my favorite, the details of the fur turned out great and while not super clear in this lighting I'm super excited to see the see-through effect in person!

The deer demon and their bones came out quite chilling, and with the glow in the dark effect it looks like the creature is silhouetted by a moonlit night!

Mothman looks like such a gremlin and I love it, the moon came out amazing and I love his eye-speckled wings!

The hair on Old Green Eyes is really well done, and that's before you notice all the cool details of the skulls beneath it! the glow effect reminds me of the first storyline post too! :>

Overall we're really excited about how these came out, and we hope you are too! We haven't seen many people do 3D pins like this before, so please let us know what you guys think! :3

From the trudges of the South Atlantic to the frigid chills of the Great Lakes, from the hot expanse of the South to the salts of the Pacific Coast... Each of the monsters featured from this campaign have been discovered and unlocked! We had so much fun working on this campaign; whether it was telling the story, creating the designs, doing the research, or interacting with you guys - this campaign has been a blast and it's already been fully funded with 20 days left to go!

Thank you all for your amazing support on yet another one of our projects! It always amazes me every time we do this just how much love you guys show for our campaigns, and we'd like to show our gratitude for all the appreciation you guys have given our hard work. <3

Plans for the Campaign
We wanted to take some inspiration from one of our backers suggestions - special thanks to Alysson Wyatt! - and bring some of our favorite mini pin designs back from the previous votes as additional stretch goals! We selected the pins that we thought that both you guys liked and would turn out the best during production to be unlocked in no particular order: (note that details are not final and subject to change!)

If you guys have any other recommendations that you would like to see offered during this campaign don't hesitate to suggest away in the comments below! Even ideas we can't use for this campaign could still be used in future projects! :>

Plans for What's Next
We have a number of projects planned for the future to come, the most impending of them being our Valentines solo campaign: Periodic Pinups

In this campaign we hope to excite the nerds, collectors, and enjoyers of the... risqué... In a number of releases that imagine the elements of the periodic table as humanized characters. We aim for these yearly campaigns to feature the entire tantalizing table over the course of 6 campaigns. Additionally we hope to feature other products like a custom periodic table pin banner for those who want to collect and give homes to the full set, alongside this we plan to have simple (and less lascivious) mini-pins for those who'd rather not be distracted while they study their collection of the elements ;)

We've been working on this one behind the scenes and will be releasing updates for it quite soon actually! You won't have to wait long before seeing what this project has in store when we show off the designs as we lead up to it's launch on Valentines. Keep your eyes peeled for the 23rd for the first of those updates :>

Plans for the Future
Besides this campaign and the one proceeding it, we have a handful of other projects in the works for this year! Here's a little sneak peak now ;>

Filipino Folklore will be a campaign surrounding local legends and tall tales from Tokii's birthplace in the Philippines! Ideas are currently rough, but there's a strong possibility that it could have similar themes compared to this campaign ;>

Midnight Festival 2 is exactly what it sounds like, we're going back to our roots and making a second addition to our very first pin campaign! It is very likely that this will be part of a group event, but details are very hush hush right now so no peaking!

Mini Myconids is our campaign for the Pocket Change Event due to launch August 6th of this year! Tokii and I have a love for mushrooms and the many variations they come in! Whether you like eating the tasty ones or learning of the toxic ones there will be something for every kind of mushroom lover in this project
