Hello Backerkit!
In addition to the news mentioned above we're also happy to announce that the polls for this campaign's competitions are now live! Our selected nominees standing a good chance to win free goodies in addition to their pledge :D
As a quick reminder the challenges were Periodic Scrabble and Brains, Brawn, and Bod
The goal of periodic scrabble was to create a funny phrase or wacky word using only the atomic symbols of the elementals featured in this campaign! It was not required that entries be in English or even correctly spelled, only that they be as fun as possible. The chosen nominees and their phrases are;
- Ari the Madlad - "Ten tender techs!" (Te, N, Te, Nd, Er, Te, C, Hs)
A title given to some of the elementals in this campaign by Ari because many of them are used in engineering.
- Fairfaxleasee - "Xenonnoerphs" (Xe, No, N, No, Er, P, Hs)
An impressively close spelling of "Xenomorphs", the main antagonist from the Alien franchise.
- Kyle Walker - "Bnana cup!" (B, Na, Na, Cu, P)
A close spelling of "Banana cup" which is presumably a cup full of bananas.
- Sirius - "Catnap!" (C, At, Na, P)
Defined as; "a short, light sleep; a doze" by Oxford Languages.
- TheChaomancer - "Snog!" (Sn, Og)
Defined as; "an act or spell of amorous kissing and caressing" by Oxford Languages.

The goal of Brains Brawn and Bod was to share a fun fact about one of the elements featured in this campaign! Additionally, all verifiable user-submitted facts will soon be added to the campaign page with credits to the user for their researching efforts. Though, the chosen nominees and their facts are;
- Artemis H shares with us;
"Ever since I learned it, I've been fascinated with the fact that copper is actually antimicrobial! From what i understand, this happens because enzymes on a bacterium's surface react with the copper, and form toxic radicals and things along those lines, leading to a vanishingly low survival rate over long periods of time!" - Fairfaxleasee shares with us;
"Oganesson is classified as a noble gas but is (likely) solid at room temperature."
- The Chaomancer shares with us;
'Sodium, an alkali metal, can be found in many numerous minerals as well as animals(humans included). Sodium is quite essential in fact for animals, both as a nutrient(Sodium Chloride, NaCl) as well as being a major cation in the ECF (extracellular fluid). It even aids in the firing of nerve impulses through the action potential.process. In conclusion, it's good to be a little salty now and then 😁'

Lastly, for the unfortunate news: While we have had a good deal of fun making this campaign, it has not seen as much traction as we had hoped to see. Having unlocked 5 of the 20 pinups, the Periodic Pinup series could last us into 2050 to complete the whole set of the periodic table.
That is why as customer-first creators we want to let you know that as of this moment we do not plan to release future campaigns for this series. Meaning if you backed this campaign so that you could collect the entire periodic table, then I urge you to reconsider your pledge.
We wanted to be completely and wholly transparent with you all and tell you that we don't know when or if this series will continue and that if it does we can't promise that it will be in the same matching style as this campaign.
Thank you for your attention, and I'm sorry if you found this news disappointing.
Stay adventurous
- Jacob and Tokii
