Hey y'all, sorry for the lack of updates! There hasn't been much new stuff to talk about or show but I'm here with some exciting news!
The plain text playtest document is ready now! We even got a cool ASCII title — The playtest document is entirely plain text, in a .text file. The document's chapters will also be broken up into their own .text files, allowing you a way to open each chapter as needed.
The playtest document currently includes: • Rules to play Cypher System, along with the rules changes found in The Entropic Isle • Character creation with the base 8 Archetypes (Wight Mage and Slugger Saint coming soon) • Chaos Magic table • Item list with guidance for creating enchanted equipment • Chaotic Calamity and Chaos Countdown sections • Full setting section (may expand with stretch goals!) • Partial bestiary, random creature and npc generators (7 complete entries, with more coming soon) • Partial cypher, artifact, and cursed artifact list (4 completed entries of each with more coming soon) • Oneshot Adventure: "The One Pure Human" or "Don't Wake Daddy" • Random adventure generator
I am super excited to get the playtest into people's hands once the campaign wraps up! Hopefully everyone has a blast exploring The Entropic Isle once the time comes!
