It has been five long days on the trail of the foul minions of darkness...
a trek through a grim landscape now blighted in the wake of mutated monstrosities scattering ruin and disease in their wake. Your hunting party has relentlessly tracked the foul creatures who had defiled the temple of the oracle. If these once were men, they are no longer, now twisted into forms so perverse and corrupted as to be wholly unrecognizable. As you pass devastated and pillaged hamlets, you think to yourself ‘Surely those abominations have passed through here...’

A crumbling tower, now the home of these vile creatures, beckons from the distance. You and your fellows quietly enter the shambles of the tower, a strong odor of urine and manure filling your nostrils. Within the dimly lit ruin strewn with refuse, your gaze falls upon a stockpile of weapons and unholy relics stacked against the moss-covered wall. You still your nerves ‘only the gods know what dark machinations their abysmal master drives before them...’

A droning cloud of insects floods into the base of the tower, coating your face and limbs. You try desperately to swat them away while a horrific monstrosity lurches into the room. A hideous thing with bulging eyes and the head of a horse lunges at you, its barbed tongue lashing violently and ripping into your skin, the pain bringing you to your knees.

A second gruesome creature more hideous than the first slithers into the room, its slug-like body oozing towards with alarming speed as you kneel, transfixed with terror. The thing rears back, its horned goat-like visage showering you with a stream of acidic bile! You scream out in agony as your armor melts into your skin and the desperate cries of your allies echo in your ears...

All writing, art, and layout for this project has been completed. Printing will begin immediately following the closing of funding, and shipping is planned to commence at the start of this Summer.
